ZedTed So I've tried the latest version and came back to update some things that I see (but I may be wrong) are lacking.
More for your guide:
1. This location (Pic related) marked by 3 tents near a large green tree (South of Doom Fort) has a tribe of nudists indians...
2. I've killed the Greedy Merchant and his Gypsy wife...
The first point is quite interesting and useful, thanks a lot for the info! The second point about the fortune teller I already knew about for a while, also the related ending (when you leave with the boat), but thanks nevertheless.
Yes they do. You must be doing something wrong.
Which cheat are you trying to enter and precisely what have you typed in the small black box at the bottom of the screen?
Apart from the fact the game is still in developement, is there any other reason why it would crash so frenquently and randomly? Am I missing something? Because right now, it's almost impossible to play more than a couple minutes (when I'm lucky) because of these crashes.

I don't know, sometime just walking make it crashes... Something wrong with my computer, I seriously doubt as everything run without any issues on it (and not just games). But now that I think about it, could it be a system language issue? I remember encountering an issue like that with another game years ago.

Just create a file inside ModScripts named "0__(whatever you want).rb" and then open it with notepad/notepad++ and copy in this one line:
FileGetter::COMPRESSED = false
This will make the game load the json files so any changes you make in them will stick.

Great :>
I will also try to add the arena gambling ticket mini-quest walkthrough with the options and consequences.
On a side note:
In the "the evil in the mass grave" quest from Pirate's bane; if you select the 2nd dialogue option when talking to the reaper-looking figure, he will leave peacefully, without combat, and the quest is done.
Not sure why would anyone want to avoid the conflict but the option is there. If only I knew what that option means though. Maybe I've unknowingly donated Lona's kidney. But I rather not mess around with MTL because moonrunes are still better than the options saying something like "baked banana".
Edit: In the latest version it is either a bug or a feature but you can only damage the reaper if you attack him without even talking to him.
If you do talk to him and select the 1st option, enraging him and causing him to try and kill you for ~1 minute, he does not take damage at all. Not 0 damage but there is no damage factor per-se.
If you DO however just ambush him and do it successfully...
HE QUITE LITERALLY PULLS OUT HIS AKS AND YELLS HIS BATTLECRY.
Pic related.

Edit 3: Ok, I think I will have to go back and report to the guild that instead of a polite, mysterious, hooded figure solemnly staring at the pond there's now a dual AK wielding, randomly spraying, death-looking guy with infinite ammo that keeps growing more red and pissed as time goes on. Oh and that he is positively immortal.
Do you guys think I will get the quest reward? :<

Euh, it's chinese, but I know the kanjis... here's for last picture: " Unknown figure: Aaaaa guns, gimme more guns."
Edit: this guy's nut, think he has 1500 hp and no defense or something, can you take him down, do tell me the result.
Edit 2: so, he got close to 4500 Hp ?
Edit 3: holy shit, I know the reference, this guy is the doom marine...
Edit 4: the first picture is him inputting cheat codes so higher being grant him "god mode" and "all guns unlocked"
the second picture is as I translated...
Thanks for the translation! :>
I suspected as much. Had to be something along the lines.
All those doom references in the game after DOOM: Eternal was released.
+ the quest where he just jumps out of nowhere and says that he's here to slay evil wherever it is.
He might not be the marine himself (doomguy does not speak, does not fight for justice and definitely does not summon monsters/undead) but he's either a copy cat or an actual Death / Grim reaper in a "chuunibyo" phase.
The dual-ak is also a meme reference (and there are many throughout the game, especially in the paintings).
Yeah, I quit trying to kill him after 5k damage. I doubt he can be killed without cheats and probably even with them.
He's also necessary for other quests. Maybe if you do them in some proper order you could but I highly doubt it.
Edit: I've forgotten how I used to type IDDQD myself back in the day... Wew, quite the egg that one :>

Bring Cocona, I believe she has some conversation with him. Also, how high is your Wis when you talked with him ? It seems if your Wis is high enough you will be spared from fighting him.

If you're willing to try and translate it I will load a previous save and bring her over and then attach the screens here.
And yeah ik, dialogue option 2 (he peacefully leaves) is what I chose after failing to beat him and nothing interesting happening after trying to report, that death went on rampage, to the guild.
