As I mentioned to c3p0 before Marcus odviously wasn't at the Dinner as part of the Security check that night.
Marcus didn't strike me as someone to forget a face and the MC is a face and Hight you don't normally forget.
Especially when they turn up escorting your bosses Eldest Daughter.
Or do's Marcus look the type that would let his subordinates search the guest of again his bosses Eldest Daughter.
Added to that his reaction to the MC at the house.
And his apparent use of the French that Rai had never heard off in all her Frech classes.
Plus the Fact that the MC also didn't recognise Marcus kinda confirms they had never met before.
Which brings me to Guesstimate Marcus indeed wasn't there that night.

I agree with you, if they would have meet already, they would have recognised each other.
So, it is either he wasn't there, what I do not believe, if he was responsible for the security there or it wasn't his responsibility. I still say he need to show us (first hand) proof of his value.

But of the off chance that this is really the case, I've asked.
Also currently (re-)playing and lying in the hospital bed and negotiate with Tori. I find it a little bit strange that she remind Ryker to not finish the sentence that he will kill Bob for her (cause legal issue and plausible deniability), but she is fine that he talks about his hacker that can hack Bobby's phone and PC.
Even more, at their first meeting Ryker told Tori that the hacker is one of his main girls. I do hope that Ryker get reprimand by someone for his lapse of judgement with this. I don't care, if he tell her every dark hidden secret he had about himself, but including others in this is a bad move and isn't even needed. When Kat get wind of it, then over the Kat/Della/Stan pipleline he will have explain himself.
