Hi there! I'm eddiedukes, grad student, freelance proofreader/editor, and degenerate extraordinaire. I've played a few mainstream VNs (DDLC and Danganronpa are my favorites), and I've tried to use my (very limited) Japanese language skills to try to play a few untranslated eroge (Milk Junkies was my first). While it's actually been pretty good practice for my spoken Japanese skills, I struggle with reading kanji, which makes things a bit difficult.
However, as someone with a background in writing and editing, I'd be interested in working alongside translators with finetuning English translations, and possibly even trying my hand at writing stuff.
