We're a couple working on a game called The Seven Realms. Our game is new, but we're growing.

Looking for: 3D Artists - Daz3D

Employment Type: Paid

Work commitment: Part-time or Full-time
In either case, let us know how many renders per month/week you can produce.

Preferred method of contact: Contact us on Discord by sending us your portfolio.

Job Description:

We're looking to hire Daz3D artists for different tasks.

Future updates: We will send you part of the script, and your job will be to pose the scene described.

After posing each render, you will send a screenshot to us to check if it's what we had in mind (or if it’s better) when we wrote the script. It would avoid a lot of back and forth and delay if the render doesn't match the "spirit" of the script. We will give you feedback on the render immediately or at the end of the day. You won't have to wait for our feedback to continue to work on other renders.

The scene's lighting will be taken care of by someone else (Shoe_Lac3, you can see his renders ).

We will do the rendering ourselves, so there is no requirement for rendering on your side.

Previous updates: We have already published Realm (Episode) 1 of our game. However, we would like to have it redone with better renders. Our 3D artist has learnt a lot since then, but she doesn't have the time to go back and redo Realm 1 as she is posing Realm 2 and writing the future Realms.

Your role would be to re-pose the renders of Realm 1 and add renders to make it feel smoother and more dynamic.

As with the previous post, the lighting and rendering will not be your responsibility.

Renders for Social Media: You will create renders for our social media platforms. Each month, we will set a theme to follow.

Required Skills for those roles: Being proficient in Daz3D and its tools like D-force (or/and Marvellous Designer), MeshGrabber etc, to make the renders look as alive/believable as possible. Subtle facial expressions are what we are looking for.

Knowledge of Blender for simulation is a plus.

Additional comments:

Being a good communicator is essential. We have a fast-release schedule, so we need to be kept updated on your progress.

It's important to know that we may not fill all the roles. At the moment, our 3D artist is doing everything alone, and the goal is to free some time for her to continue to write the story and to offer more variations within it. She will continue to pose everything alone if we don't find anyone.

We really want to find the right match and people we can trust and work with long-term.
