Project:
A 2D life management simulation game for adults, developed in Godot.

The game features life simulation and resource management mechanics. Players control a young woman navigating daily life, earning money through various activities (mostly NSFW of course), and managing time and resources. Our young female hero is out of cash. She needs to make money quickly to pay the rent and other expenses.

In the first version she will have only the option to work at a brothel. I want to add more options in later releases. The gameplay includes dice rolls and minigames, with NPCs that have unique traits and demands.

The idea is influenced by the following games:
An early prototype is already in place with basic gameplay elements like navigation between locations, a dialogue system, time progression, and partial implementation of fatigue, hygiene, and energy systems. The current goal is to release an early version quickly, then expand gameplay and story through iterative updates.

Developer:
Experienced software developer with 20+ years of programming experience and a degree in computer science specializing in game development.

Looking for:
  • A talented and reliable 2D artist to collaborate on the game, creating assets such as characters, animations, backgrounds, UI elements, and marketing materials.
  • You should be of legal age.
  • You should be fluent in English or German.
Employment Type:
Revenue share model (percentage split based on contribution, with a potential for 50/50).

Work commitment:
Part-time collaboration with flexibility to grow the game together over time.

Job Description:
  • Collaborate on defining the visual style and aesthetic of the game.
  • Create high-quality assets, including characters, environments, animations, UI elements, and marketing material (Patreon, Itch.io)
  • Work closely with the developer to ensure visuals complement gameplay and mechanics.
Additional comments:
  • Placeholder assets (AI-generated and unlicensed) are currently used but will be replaced with original, hand-crafted art.
  • The game’s content must comply with legal standards in the USA and Europe. No excessive violence, gore, or underage characters. The goal is to create a game that appeals to a broad audience, including women, men, and everyone in between.
