CC and iClone are a fantastic combination, especially for animation. iClone excels in animation capabilities—anything Blender offers in this area is essentially trying to catch up with iClone. CC, on the other hand, imports not only DAZ characters but also many head morphs seamlessly. Its skin editor is also incredibly powerful. Together, these tools make it easy to export animations to any other software like Unity, Unreal, Blender, etc.
As for shaders, the community has you covered, myself included and others around in github too when it comes to Unity/Unreal.
Also is feasible to work with custom characters, anime ones, genitalia, etc. If you know the workarounds. I advertise this as a service in my thread (in the signature).
The trade-off is the cost—it’s not cheap. The full setup, including key plugins and basic assets, runs around $1K. But honestly, it’s been one of the best investments I’ve made for my work. And is just one time payment, no suscription.
