A long time ago (at least five years, but probably nearer ten), I played an RPG Maker game that I now can't find hide nor hair of.
The main character was female, and either a holy knight or an angel. In the opening sequence, she participated in an assault on a cultist stronghold, but was betrayed by her commander and/or religious order, and ...sacrificed, I think? When she woke up she was in a forest somewhere. A large hollow tree became her "home base"; it gradually gained amenities and companions as she explored her surroundings and the story progressed.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't a Japanese game (or at least, if it was, it was better translated than most). I think the PCs were all female (or possibly futa?), and the main-story sex scenes skewed heavily F/F.
