The MC was a human male, when he slept, he traveled to other worlds/realms. He had a guide that was a cat (i think). At first he could only stay for short periods, but as he grew stronger, he could stay longer. I believe his guide was able to go to the human world or at least communicate with him there. I also believe it was a Renpy game.
