Here is what i remember:
Castlevania clone, so 2d.
Game was pixel art.
You play a female protagonist with, I think, a machinegun as a weapon.
On defeat you got transported to a room deep inside the castle, but can then fight your way out, so no game over as far as I remember.
Game was japanese, but I think it had a japanese translation.
This was years ago, so at least 2019, probably earlier.
