I played a game some time back that I have misplaced and wish to play through again. I can not remember the title. I am going to add some details as best I can remember. I hope that someone can help me find it or makes suggestions that may lead me to it.
1. Game opens with a man in a meeting with his Clinical Psychologist. The story begins with the closing his eyes and talking about traumatic events of his past.
2. There was an accident or incident that landed him in the hospital. He suffers from extreme guilt and PTSD from the event and the loss of someone he cared for.
3. During his hospital visit he befriends a Nurse. This Nurse ends up being a serial killer who becomes obsessed with her patients and when they make her feel unloved, she kills them.
4. The climax of the story pits the MC against the serial killer with the life of the one he has come to love in the balance. His love interest stumbles upon the lair of the serial killer. The final event takes place in a basement room where the serial killer has gathered photos of virtually every aspect of the MC's life as well as the lives of the previous victims.
4. Throughout the story the MC continues his therapy, tells his story and meets new people, one of which is a young girl that he invites into his home after she finds herself homeless and alone.
5. Ultimately the story has a good ending for the MC if you make the right decisions.
