This is a VN that is, at the start at least, Very highly animated, The VN starts with a walking scene as MC getting is back to his hometown, can't remember why he was away, and is greeted by his friend/cousin(?). She talks to him about one of their friends/siblings(?) and an age old argument on this walk home.
Fast forward a bit and he is going to school and encounters a former classmate who is Genius level intellect, not often at home for some reason, and the two of them had argued in the past. She asks him to meet at some secret place they used to go play when they were kids, but I think it's also forbidden to be there.
and that is where I stopped playing due to BSOD.
The level of animation/sprite work was remarkable, but it did not look like it was 3d, it was 2d or 3d rendered as 2d in the anime/vn style.
