Project:
The project has no name yet. I do have the outline/setting of what I think could be an interesting game.
"You have always been a lone wolf. Moving from village to village, helping people for the coin they are able to spare. The emptiness doesn't seem to bother you, for you are used to it.
But that changes when you meet a young Elven woman in the woods. Being attacked by multiple monsters, you grab your blade to save the Elf.
After saving her, you are unable to communicate with her. Until she breaks her necklace in half, and gives one of them to you. This seems to connect the both of you.
You now seem to understand and talk Elvish fluently, and discover a world that needs a new Hero. You sharpen your blade to go on an adventure you will never forget."
There is more than enough wiggle room to make this an interesting story.
Developer:
Kakapo Creations
Looking for:
A writer who is interested in medieval fantasy.
Employment Type:
The plan is to put the game on Steam. We will split 50/50. I know a talented artist with a realistic art style, so finding someone who can bring the story to life will be my task.
Work commitment:
I don't expect you to work on it full time. I have a job too, and life gets busy sometimes. However, it would be great if there is weekly/biweekly progress.
Preferred method of contact:
Initially via here.
Job Description:
I am looking for someone with an interest in medieval fantasy setting. What I like about the outline I have written is that the male character and female Elf don't know each other and they can grow closer. How they manage to do that and what problem they have to solve is something we can think of together.
My role will be programming the story into RenPy (we will keep it a visual novel for now). I will also provide the artist, composer (but that's for later) and will put the game on Steam.
When it's on Steam, payment will be done via crypto to ensure our privacy.
Additional comments:
The outline is not set in stone, I am always open for ideas that are better than mine. However, I don't want the story to contain illegal content, or gay characters (lesbian is okay).
