Hiya!

So i tried my luck with Chatgbt and other Ai but i just could not find the game.

I think it was in the nineties and iirc it was about a woman or female robot/cyborg in a futuristic set with a lot of chrome. Enemies kind of "molested" her instead of doing actual damage. She was an assassin or smething like that and there where robodogs or so... i guess?

It was kind of a 2D side scroller and i swear her means to get health back were using a dildo or other lewd stuff...or that was the way she got damaged... i dont know anymore. Its all blurry since i wasnt that old myself at the time and it was all in english which is not my native language.

Would be great if anyone of you knew which game i mean. Its not like i want to play it, but i have it stuck in my head for years now and i just want to get it out of the system.

Thx in advance!

PS: I dont know if this thread belongs to Identification since i guess its only meant for actual porn games. If not, im sorry. Besides this, can someone elaborate the difference between General Discussion and Off Topic? For me, it feels the same.

It is meant for the recommendations and identification section.

General Discussion : Join the conversation on a variety of topics that don't fit neatly into other categories. Connect, share ideas, and engage in lively discussions with fellow members in this versatile and inclusive space.

Off-Topic : If it doesn't belong anywhere else, it goes here. This subforum is unmoderated.

a couple of side notes :

1) Things that can be posted in general discussion can be posted in off-topic too BUT Off-Topic things should not be posted in General Discussions and will be moved when it gets out of hand or reported.
2) For Off-Topic the description says "This subforum is unmoderated." which is partially true BUT there are some things that WILL be moderated.

Thx for all the info BUT try to be someone who does not know what you do and read you description about General Discussion and Off-Topic again. There is literally no difference. You could switch your description for these forums and it would be all the same.

It seems that im to dumb because i still wouldnt know where to post stuff which doesnt belong in "real" categories like recomm & ID and tbh, a differentiation of these two in itself is dumb af since General Discussion means literally you can talk about anything unspeciffic and something like an OT-Forum is literally impossible since you would need a topic to go off-topic which as i said, is impossible if you categorize it as its own part of a forum.

See, my whole rant was off-topic, since the topic was, where i should have posted my question.

Besides this, again, thx for you answer. For my next old school game search, ill use the right forum:)

PS: There is a nearly 7 years old thread about Skyrim mods with more than 18k replies in General Discussion... If this isnt the epitome of Off-Topic on a side like this, then there is none.

I can not give a proper differentiation between General Discussion and Offtopic either.

To me it seems same-ish, but in General Discussion you can have more hope for a topic staying on-topic, so maybe that's why you find things in General Discussions like:

If that was in Offtopic, then it could have become the same, or it could have deteriorated into anything BUT skyrim-mods, or be hijacked by 1erd0, or ...

and I think nobody would complain (well you never know with some of them) about your game search being in Recommendations and Identifications. But now it is here, so be it.
There are regularly requests to identify pornactresses or SFW games (rare) over there.

The best way I can explain it.

General Discussion

Basically if it's something to or that can be discussed it goes in general discussions. You mentioned skyrim mods but you'll notice that it not just pages of links, it's pages of discussions, which mods are good or not, where to get them, experiences with them etc. and it has links. You'll also see discussions asking for advice or talking about personal experiences. etc.

Off-Topic

Threads that don't generate discussions or that very likely could / will cause conflict go in off-topic. Music channels, pics posting, rants, even off-topic game discussions generally go in off-topic because they are off-topic and there is generally conflict.
It's also why the message says "this subforum is not moderated" with exceptions!

Examples:

You want to talk about cats, breeds, daily care - general discussion
You want to share pics and have others share pics of cats - off-topic

You want to discuss the history of Atari - general discussion
You want to rant about Atari's crap customer service - off-topic

and as I pointed out, you can post topics that would fit in general discussion in off-topic but you can't post off-topic discussions in general discussions.

hope this helps
