Update: couldn't reach any agreement, I moved on to other projects

Project:
Anyone interested in making a game? I'm a web developer but no game dev exp.
Looking to finish a demo in 2-4 months.

What I'm looking for:
- 2D or 3D artist for spicy scenes
- Backgrounds and scene assets can be AI generated
- Natural looking young women (think of Wild Life, Wicked Rouge, Overwatch).

Employment Type:
- Shared revenue, artist earning %50-%80 of the split (up for discussion).
- I'll handle dialogue, plot, music, theme, unless you want to.

Contact:
- Dm here or on discord alexh#3397

Additional comments:
Hello, I have tons of ideas for games and I'm open to hearing yours too.

Discord DM doesn't go through -- I mostly do art in a manga style [ ], but can color if necessary.

Renpy isn't exclusive to VNs. Most of the popular sandbox games were made with Renpy
Those sandboxes still for the most part play like a VNs. Only difference is that instead of "choose who to talk to next" option you have to go to a character manually

I find a lot more differences than just "choose who to talk next", between a VN Renpy and a Sandbox Renpy.

Quests / Repeatable events / Inventory / Statuses / Navigation / Money earning / Day-Night cycles

All this can be done (easily) and is currently done with Renpy.

I actually can't think of a better way to code a sandbox game, than using Renpy. Maybe RPGM ? But their coding part is more complex tho.

You're correct. I'd even use Renpy if I was doing the art myself.

Updated the post with what I did in 5 days learning Unity. We'll go fast.
