Project:
- Bridges of Faete - an epic, high fantasy Adult VN/RPG in Renpy. ( for game descrip). Aiming for demo to be released by end of the year.

Developer:
- Team includes myself (Project Lead/Writer), Brandon (Renpy/Python Coder), DigitalDogz (Daz artist), and Jayde (Photoshop/Illustrator artist). We're all pretty relaxed, no drama.

Looking for:
- Proficient 3d blender artist

Employment Type:
- Fair share of income once game begins to generate revenue.

Work commitment:
- Part time (we all have day jobs), long term (I expect this will be a multi-game project, story is long and world building is deep). There will be an interview process, and an NDA will be required if you join the team.

Preferred method of contact:
- Here or discord (Zee Half-Dragon#7455)

Job Description:
- Proficient 3d Blender artist (hard and soft surface, rigging, animation would be nice). The characters, textures, lighting and rendering can all be done in DAZ. Extra assets, custom character morphs and possibly animation in blender. Knowledge of how DAZ and Blender work together. Ability to communicate in English.

Does not need to be an expert, but does need to be willing to learn, and willing to work with the team.

Rude people and drama queens need not apply.

Additional comments:
- Artist input into the project is welcome. There will be challenging visuals (Magic, monsters/Fae, Anthros).
- Some Intended Tags (not set in stone, and not all inclusive): Anthro/Monster sex, Monster Guys and Girls, Pregnancy, All the sex, "Faux"cest, harem/semi-harem, some open relationship/sharing (optional), futa, futa sex (optional), size difference, potentially some rape (not by MC), group sex/orgy/gangbang, and would LOVE some belly bulge/cum inflation, maybe even ATWT.

For those who view this, is there something I'm missing information wise? Is there something specific that made you not want to inquire?

If you've got a DAZ artist why are you looking for someone to use blender?
Not being an ass, I honestly don't understand.

I'm not the artist, but from the way I understand it:

For a few reasons. One, I want the Fae in the game to have a different look than the humans. 2, Blender does some things better/easier, like creating assets and animations. But Daz does other things better/easier, like lighting. Usually, short of a lot of post processing, the renders/animations I like the most, that seem to have the best all around appeal (realistic, but soft) seem to be Blender/Daz hybrids.

Blender is much harder to learn than daz3d. There are very few Blender artists in todays game dev's. Most just use Daz.
You are asking for a bit much, with not so much from your side. That might be a reason people don't reply.

Also no track record, so who is making sure you don't take profits, run. Or run because you figure out it's hard work?
I would try to answer those questions, then it might be easier to find someone.

Lastly, for the sculpting part, you are not necessarily thinking of Blender.

Best of luck!

Fair, Blender is tough. My Daz artist is learning it himself, and we may rescind this request in the near future.

As to people getting paid the shares, we go full partner NDA, with real names, so if I attempted anything of the like, each individual on the team is protected and has right to sue, as would I if they stole my story. I have references of work done for a very well known dev. I'm not trying to name drop here, but if it helps establish some credibility, anyone is welcome to ask in DM/Discord.

If anyone is interested, but hesitant, I'd be happy to discuss on discord, introduce you to the team, show the NDAs in use, etc.

You're better off sticking to just DAZ. Anyone good enough in Blender to create their own assets isn't going to work for free and lets be real here. This isn't 2018 anymore. You're not going to be making any real money for at least a year. If you have a team of five + people who are just doing this as a side gig you'll run into problems quickly. Even if they all stick around (which almost never happens) every update will be dependent on all of you meeting deadlines. This means the time between updates will be long which will cut into your sub count dramatically.

While I gave a sad emoj. ZomBotHD , he is right.
Most dev's abandon their project. I don't know the statistics, but check today out. We have like 5-10 0.1 releases or demo's.
maybe 2 will see a 0.2. And probably not one will reach 0.5.

When everything runs perfectly and you'd get to 0.5, you'd still need to be in the top 1%, to be able to give your Blender artist a revenue share that comes close to what he earns in a normal, probably much more relaxed, job.

When I said good luck, I meant it. If it looks like this from a users perspective, I don't want to know how it looks for a game dev.

The reasons you're not getting responses are several.

Firstly, you're asking for a proficient 3D artist. If there's someone who's actually experienced and skilled in the 3D industry, chances are that they are already doing regular, main-stream jobs rather looking for a job offer on a pirating website for porn video-games.

Second, you're not offering a fixed fee for their services, but a cut of a maybe, possible income. With little-to-no assurance of generating any money at all - you could improve this by mentioning that you have a plan for marketing and advertisement once the project is published.

Third, you're mentioning NDA contracts (which on its own I don't think is a bad thing) but with full names and personal details. You need to understand that this isn't an industry where people feel so comfortable to reveal their full name to anyone, people can be extremely paranoid about their privacy due to all sorts of circumstances (or at least I am, to the point where I would stay away from this job offer entirely).

None of these points make for a good enough reason on their own to turn away absolutely everyone, but when it's all three combined, I believe it filters down the amount of interested individuals to an extremely low number.

Essentially, you're asking people who don't need this job, to do it (basically) for free, and also to be involved with legal contracts while doing it. It's just not that type of community.

That's just my personal take on it and I may be wrong, but I'm wishing you good luck with your project!
