Looking for free tools to create hidden object game backgrounds

Hello everyone,

To practise web programming, I had fun making a little hidden object game where you have to find objects in an image.

I really enjoyed doing that and would like to take my project a step further by adding my own images.

Can you recommend any free methods for creating this kind of image ? I've tried several free AI tools, but nothing really worked. Maybe I had the wrong prompt.

Daz3d is free and lots of assets are either dirt cheap or free. Then you'll have full control over the scene.
