I've been racking my brain trying to find this game. I can't remember all the plot points but I do know that there was incident where the MC landed in jail and it turned out one to the girls he was seeing was the daughter of the cops or the mayor or something like that. Also the MC's landlady/mom had some history with the town and was running away from some kind of religious compound and worked at an autoshop at some point. I think the MC did something at a party but the MC couldn't remember what happened at that party

No but it has some things in common. The game I'm talking about takes place in the MC home town and the MC mother is actively in the game. There is a common theme of city corruption though.
