I played No Mercy a couple months ago and loved it. I'm looking for something similar, but I can't quite find it... I just like the "tone" of No Mercy.
What I'm looking for:
- No Mercy was dark and somewhat serious (main storyline, the rest was garbage). The relationship between the MC and the mother felt believable (if you turn off your brain a bit). She didn't threw herself at him just because, the MC manipulates her and tricks her into going further down the rabbit hole.
I'm not looking for a fuckfest in which the MC gets laid because absolutely no reason... I want to be able to make it happen through choices and manipulation, with smart dialogue (if such thing is possible in this genre) and a grounded feel.
I already played Raptus and hated it. The graphics were off, the story was dumb as fuck and it was just gross for the sake of being "edgy". Besides, the whole "The character is just crazy and does this shit" makes the game feel like it's on rails.
I want to be able to decide how fucked up things get.
I'd be nice if:
- It was 3DGC, with GOOD graphics and animations.
- It had some sound design, at least basic music and SFX
- Good writing, with some drama, tension or high stakes, not just sex.
