The artstyle might be quite similar but it looks weird at the same time. :/ Not my cup of tea when I look at the pictures.

If you like the art style, do Pale Carnations. It has the same art style but a better story/writing. If you want the cringe, then Harem Hotel and Mythic Manor both have the same art style and cringe.

Pale Carnations was a very good recommendation. Characters and artstyle are beautiful while I think Harem Hotel is horrible with poor animation quality. I think I tried Mythic Manor back then and didn't like it but I am not quite sure. Thanks for your recommendations so far!
It was quite a while ago I last played waifu academy but aren't the art and animations shit on that game? I don't really remember harem hotel being worse anyways.
One question for you, I'm not joking nor judging:
Why are animations a must? Considering you only get really bad animations or a somewhat decent one that loops.

Nope, the animation in Waifu Academy is way better than in Harem Hotel. At least thats what I think. I am simply a fan of animation and it brings more life to games like this if you ask me. Of course its a lot of hit and miss when it comes to the quality of animations.

The animation quality in HH got better over time, so animations that are from more recent updates are far, far better than animations from earlier updates. Since each update also progresses one or more character's stories that means that the animations improve as you get further into the game.
Pale Carnations actually had the same issue until recently. The animations from their initial release were far worse than everything that came after. Fortunately they were smart enough to go back through and revisit those an update or two ago.
For me, I mostly like games with tiddies and well developed characters. I don't think any of the above actually have well developed characters except pale carnations.
Gotcha, what works for you works for you
With the HS animations minor flaws usually stand out a lot to me (because its moving) which to me breaks immersion a bit.
But hey, if everyone thought the same it be boring eh.
