title, looking for sidescrollers, 3D or other types of games not rpgm or sidescroller that fall under this trope. i see many places (ie. hitomi.la) with this tag but cant seem to find where it originated, and many games ive seen here (mostly rpgms) also is listed as being this type of game

Not so much 'tentacle trap' for the entirety of the game as the overarching theme per-se, but there are certain segments in this game that have those kinds of elements.
