A lot of the games with corruption mechanics I've seen focus mainly on the main character(s) and/or some sub characters, making them lust-addled maniacs. But as of late, I've developed in interest in a more large-scale version of corruption in the changes. What I call "world corruption," with the setting/play area and/or its NPCs falling to degeneracy, either alongside, separate from, or parallel to the playable characters.

To clarify, I'm not looking for a game like Black Souls I and II, Third Crisis, LonaRPG, or Dark Land Chronicle: The Fallen Elf (as interesting as they are), where by the time the actual game begins the world has already gone to hell in a horny handbasket. Nor something like War Disorder Hexa, where the entirety of the game takes place during the whole "world going to hell" process with nothing before or after it.
The game I'm looking for is the kind where you can watch an at-first peaceful world slowly burn by the fires of its own desire. And maybe toss a lit match or two into it.
Games I consider good examples of world corruption include;
- Games like Moonflower Princess Cornelia, where the increasing corruptive influence of the big bad makes the city and everyone in it more degenerate. Along with new H-events unlocked, you find NPC dialogue getting more and more lewd until people are outright fornicating in the streets.
- A milder example is Magical Girl Celesphonia, where the more Domination the enemy has over the city, the more dangerous it is. Perverts are more frequent, molester risk on the train goes up, post-defeat rescue takes longer to arrive meaning the heroine is H'ed more, etc.
Bad examples of world corruption include;
- Womb Tattoo of Betrayal: NPC dialogue changes as more and more H events are seen. But that's it. It unlocks no new scenes or content, nothing else about the world changes, and the whole thing may as well be flavor text.
- NTR Tales - Adventurer Corruption: Increasing heroine lust changes NPC dialogue, but otherwise no changes to the world and its characters. All H-content remains heroine-centric.
