I am looking for a Git repo hosting service that allows adult content.
As far as I know, Bitbucket, GitHub and GitLab (SAAS) do not fall into this category.
Can someone recommend me alternatives that I should look into?

Would like to avoid self hosting if possible.
The hosting service does not have to be for free, In fact, I don't expect any SAAS to operate for free.

As far as i recall SourceForge doesnt have restrictions as GitLab or GitHub - did you check them?

On another note: Code is seldomly sexual content. So hosting just your code and splitting your media to a safer place outside might be another way for you to think about

Yeah, with sexual content I just mean kinky class names or textual assets (translations).

Those rules were written to prevent people from uploading actual porn, as they are, essentially, file hosting sites. I don't think you have anything to worry about with a few naughty words like "penis" and "fuck".

That may be true, who knows. But I would prefer a paid service that won't ban you just because an offended user reported your repo.

Thanks, will look into it.
Only heard positive things about their products, nice to see that they also jumped on the Git train.
I think a company I worked for uses some of their products for versioning binary assets (gfx/sfx).

I made my repo on github private. That should guard you against people like that. I've been using github for a repository for my NSFW game since december (I'm using tweego+VSCode, with Git/Github version control) and didn't had any issues. Of course, I only have the source code, any pic/video is not uploaded there.

That's fair. For what it's worth, I'm on Bitbucket and all my repos are set to private.
