Does anyone know of any good games similar in vein to Dark Hero Party but with a good or decent story, and where the MC isn't just another spineless cuck but instead becomes a proper hero (even if he's not part of the super special awesome plot mandated race or chosen by fate/the gods/your mom/whatever)?

That's a tough one. If a game starts out with brutal NTR, it's likely to stick with it except for an optional revenge ending / route. Usually just an ending. Greenskins looked like it was going to give MC more of a chance earlier on, and has a similar bleak fantasy tone, but it's abandoned. Maybe you'll find something else here. Netoria might work. Oh, SoC could be good. You have to enable and allow the NTR, but yeah, I think MC can get strong instead of just being there to suffer.
Ideally, I would like something that either avoids NTR completely, allows it to be completely prevented, or allows for sweet, sweet revenge.
