Project:
Project Name is kept under wraps until a successful candidate is selected. This project is well established and leads several forums in popularity and size. Content warnings (applicant must be comfortable writing, coding and generating assets for all of the below):
Rape, Incest, NTR

Developer:

Kept under wraps until a successful candidate is selected.

Looking for:
Jack of all trades. Someone who can code in Ren'Py/Python, but at the same time write compelling dialogue, story + character development, generate (stable diffusion / comfyUI etc) + manually edit required assets, playtest to ensure the deliverable is bug-free and fixable, implement new features in the game, etc.

Employment Type:
Paid.

Work commitment:
Full time, long term.

Preferred method of contact:
Discord @ gigapro8796

Job Description:
Independently write, develop and test scenes for a Ren'Py VN, add new features/systems. This includes:
a) Writing the game's story direction
b) Creating + manually editing the required assets for each scene using popular webUIs and genAI models (stable diffusion/SD-Forge/ComfyUI etc). 16GB GPU minimum is a requirement for this position.
c) Writing the actual dialogue
d) Coding the required .rpy files with the required logic/dialogue/scenes
e) Testing
f) Work on new features/systems for the game.
g) All of the above on a strict multi-deadline system. This is a full-time job where a minimum 30h work week is expected.

Additional comments:
I may consider applications from candidates that don't possess the full required skillset and want to focus on a more specific role (for example story+dialogue writing or AI asset gen+editing), although the preferred candidate would be a jack of all trades that can handle everything from A to Z.

Beyond technical skills, some other non-negotiable skills the candidate absolutely must have are:
-Maturity, responsibility, ownership, accountability.
-Setting high bar for themselves.
-Ability to deliver quality and quantity under strict deadlines.
-Great communication and collaboration skills as you'll be working as part of a team and reporting to management regularly.
-Ability to absorb and act on feedback.

Procedural stuff:
-Fixed term contract, tied to each content update (but monthly payment regardless of when the agreed shipping date)
-Renewable at each shipping date, provided both parties are happy with the cooperation. (my hope is that it will be a long term cooperation)

What's in it for you:
Beyond the long term stable income, you will enjoy:
-Having a big name in your portfolio, opening multiple future opportunities for you in the industry.
-Working with some of the best in the industry, in a friendly and professional atmosphere.
-Growth opportunities.

In order to be considered:
-You can apply even without a portfolio BUT:
a) There will be a test task first which will be shared with you if you show interest in this post / through discord. Only completed test tasks will be considered.
b) Successful completions that pass the level of quality we expect, within the deadline that is set, will be interviewed.
Being able to show a portfolio is a bonus but obviously everything will be decided by how well you can complete the test task, which is designed in a way that mimics our real work as closely as possible.

Oh, so just... "make a game by yourself". I hope anyone considering this knows the value of their work and secures it thoroughly.

How would you even monetize something with those niches on it as they're banned everywhere now due to Visa/Mastercard recent actions?

nickyfartson - Except you have a team behind you that have already done it successfully for over a year now. This isn't a "hey I have a game idea, can you develop it for me" post. We're also open to splitting roles up if we can't find the jack of all trades we're looking for (asset gen is the highest priority role right now actually). Why we're looking for an all-in-one in the first place, several reasons:

a) Smoother communication, no stuff lost in translation between different roles, no inefficiencies/bureocracy from having separate roles coordinating with each other.
b) Output is much more consistent as one person has full control over all aspects of the game
c) It's the way we've worked on so far (we wear multiple hats and just split workload across all functions), and it's worked for us. Having someone who speaks the same language (i.e. all hats in game dev) just makes things smoother.
d) Wearing multiple hats and being able to say "I did every single thing in game dev from A to Z in X successful project" - makes you an extremely attractive candidate for nearly any gamedev project in the future. Say one day we decide to launch a 2nd project, this person would be first in line to join the team.

How would you even monetize something with those niches on it as they're banned everywhere now due to Visa/Mastercard recent actions?
TekeshiX - It's a real concern for all us adult game devs, and we'll discuss all potential future risks with whoever makes the shortlist. All I can say is this is a paid role and we don't expect anyone to work for free regardless of circumstances. Contracts will be signed prior to any work beginning.
