VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Lord of Imagination [Ep. 4.5 NTR] [AgentGames]

Great renders, setting the scene and the models used. The beginning of the game was quite interesting, but the further you progressed, the more convoluted the story became with subplots and some gaps in the main story.
As the game is abandoned, it is quite short and there is nothing much to experience, hence rating as poorly, as the story does not make sense when it finished.

Positives:

Renders are good.


Negatives:

Animations are decent but too far between
Story gets too convoluted too quickly and I couldn't bring myself to really care about the subplots, perhaps the writing just wasn't engaging.
Overall too short, with insufficient time for story arc completion.

For me, the game went on stage, and I kept asking myself, what happened? And then the game took me to the main menu, for example ... what, what (I think last season is over)? Also the dialogues are very complex, somehow? I find almost every scene very confusing.
And now that it has been fully confirmed that giving up does not make sense to play.

This game has a wonderful plot and excellent girls' renders. NTR is good, and combining mind control makes more sense and pretty sexy. I hope this game can add more girls with different ethicities and more animations, which would make this game more attractive. I personally do not care a lot for the plot, as long as it make sense in the big picture. We came here to have fun, and you can definitely have fun with this game. Please continue making this game, I would support it without hesitation.

This game is better than most other "chosen-one" powered protagonist games. They tend to make the MC's whole character the fact that he is the chosen one and don't develop any other aspects, but this MC is actually witty and doubts himself very much. Looking forward to more updates to the story...
Edit: Fuck... It got abandoned right as it got interesting. Left on a cliffhanger...

Review version of Episode 4.5

• The renders are great and have good character designs. It can be better but the LI looks good
• The story is well written and unique in a way (To be reviewed later again)
• One of the games that offer the rare mind control fetish
• The story pace and world building is not rushed and the choice players make have deep impact which is good
• The sex scenes are good but can be improve with more animation
• It still lacks a good music/sound effect which improve the overall experience
• The game reminds you of Dream of Desire which is one of the most popular game in the industry
• One of the game that you wished it was completed and not abandoned

The game is mostly adequate. While I enjoyed graphics and story( While I liked Mafia part, it was still the weakest link, in my opinion) , I felt that I was still waiting for this game to get really good. Still better than most VN's I checked here. I just couldn't get as invested, as I was hoping.

Great game with beautiful models and renders.

You can play as dominant and in charge or a cuck that goes impotent.

I really like that you can choose completely different outcomes and storise, that's half the reason to play a VN instead of just putting on some porn.

Could be a great game all in all, but I feel like the last updates skipped some details and came a bit short. Especially the NTR content. I hope the dev team invests more time into detail and the corruption process because renders and characters are great. So lets see what the future brings and whether they rush it. I will adjust my rating. Right now I feel leaning towards 3 stars, which is sad. It started with the premise of a 5 star game...

I remember seeing this game when it first came out and I thought: "Nice concept I'll give it a year or so." So I've come back a year and change later and was not disappointed.

Story - Going into as little story details as possible you play as James, (the default name of the MC) who's left university due to his crumbling mental health that causes him to see a mysterious woman.

To sum up I highly recommend this game the writing's good and when you're given one of the few non-binary good boi vs corrupter choices they make meaningfully weight their pros and cons.

Just finished what is available so far of the game (Episode 4). I have to say, for the dev's first visual novel, this is really good. The story is intriguing and happens at a good pace, the character development is well done and the characters are not just cartoon cutouts, and the renders are pretty good. It is unfortunate that there is no music for most of the game, and that the updates while consistent are a little slow (understandable, considering the small team size), but other than that this is some really good work!

We have a diamond in the rough here.. A game that need a tad bit of polishing to display itself as the masterpiece that it really is. Kudos to the dev for an amazing story.
Without any major spoilers, the game revolves around a college dropout with mental issues who finds himself as a champion to one of the two demigods waging a medieval war. The story is about you finding out your true potential while also having to protect your family.
The story is laid out pretty good with minimal sexual encounters as of episode 4 Most of which is with the side characters. The incest portion is still out cold but I have a feeling that the mom/sister actions are really gonna shoot up after episode 4, specially after when the demigod tells the MC about his creation and inbreeding leading to a more powerfull offspring, Also the part about his drug addict sister being dead sucked ass.
The renders are pretty good, but the animations really is dragging the game down. the story is amazing, characters are noteworthy.
This is another one of those games that start slow and then shoots up real fast. If you're playing till Ep 4, dont expect much fapworthy content.

One of the VERY FEW games that have a really good story. Not one of these dumb games that pretend there is a story. Instead, there is a story that would actually work without any sex at all. It just got a bit lewd-tuned, and I really enyoyed playing it so far.

A good game that could be an excellent game in time, it has an interesting plot with compelling characters, very story driven so don't expect copious amounts of sex scenes, the characters have more depth than a lot of games on this site, it also has sci-fi elements, superpowered beings, demons & the mafia. What's not to like?

Played: episode 3 reboot, mostly good path.
I was fairly pleasantly surprised with the storyline and the pacing of the writing. There's a lot going on all the time, and a lot to tell and explain, but it didn't feel like the writing was drawn out forever. It's a good mix between explaining what's going on and action (violence or other action).
The renders are pretty good, characters are nice as well.
Definitely worth the time for those who like a sexy mix of modern times and fantasy.

This is an enjoyable game if you can forgive the plot holes and non-sensical story jumps.

The Good

- MC is a sarcastic and witty guy that I enjoyed playing. He isn't 'the dumb as a piece of wood' simp that we normally get.
- Girls are very fuckable, the mother is an often used model in these games but always welcome.
- The overall story is fun, but hardly unique.
- Graphics range from okay to pretty good.

The Bad

- The MC is way too young to make much sense in the story. Since when do we make 22 yo college drop outs the leader of a Mafia empire? Too much suspension of disbelief required to make the story plausible. Oh, and he's a criminal mastermind making big decisions despite having no background in anything.
- The story jumps from mini plot to mini plot with no consistency. One second we are discussing the end of the world, the next we are talking about forging documents so mom can get a job.
- Some scenes happen out of nowhere. All of a sudden I'm on a date with the shrink at an art exhibition despite no build up or discussion about it. At first though it was a bug, but who knows?
- In earlier versions of this game there were ntr options, most seem to have been removed. What choices you have left feel pretty hollow. You either play a boring hero or a simp that doesn't make any sense.
- The MC has gotten all this great powers and continues to worry about trivial shit. You have mind control ffs, fuck everything and get rich. How hard is it????

The Ugly

- Sex scenes are mostly stills with no animation and a little unsatisfying.
- The demoness character is very inconsistant. A menacing demi god one second, a friendly genie at your command the next.

Despite all its faults its still fun to play. I imagine the things that annoyed me will be happily overlooked by most people. Good game to play if you got a couple hours to waste.

The game has a nice story so far, i like the demon and hope for some scenes with her and the other girls are all nice also.
The flow of the story is written good enough to be easy enough to follow and keep you guessing what is going on and who is not trustworthy.

Sex. 7.5/10 one anal scene, no harem and no rimjob plus only a couple sex scenes so far.

This was a pretty damn good story. Great character. Good design. Can't wait for more! And definitely more sex and ntr scenes. Wish there were some more dialogue choices to break up the long exchanges of text though.
