Half truths are a manipulator's greatest tool. What she was describing is something MC had already seen before. She knew revealing it was harmless.

In the end, we have no way to know what happened during those weeks for sure. But her behavior as a whole, screams cheating, anyone with just basic social awareness can see that. With people with Lacey's personality, it's pointless to focus on words. You can only piece the puzzle from actions and what little facts you may know. The one thing we can be sure of, is that she knew getting the work involved sexual favors and that didn't deter her. That alone is cheating intent.
