My thoughts on the "ending" - I'm not sure if I want to be right

The character writing is far superior to most games in that genre. The plot though, is full of holes, inconsistencies and very kinetic so far

The plot is supposed to be inconsistent by design, at least in part.

The Prof literally starts the game by stating the MCs account of events is unreliable, so i expect load of contradictions, and part of the fun os figuring out what the truth actually is.

Wouldn’t surprise me, if it is later revealed that MCs retelling is partly incorrect or fabricated, his mental illness playing tricks on his memory of events.

Could also just be a writing cop-out to not have to worry about inconsistencies though

More than plotholes its about inconsistencies or things that get a 1 line as an explanation to get postponed and dont get adressed again.

This is something that can be used, sure.

Showing how a character percieves the world and then show that it was just an interpretation and how completely different another point of view or reality is.

All good, but we see a lot of point of views with MC not present, so it doesn't always hold up, since that narrative tool works on single character "sight".

The unreliable narrators are plenty here, both willing and unwilling, Lacey and the pimp are examples of that but it is in their own narration within the story.

I think the PTSD memory trick will show up again btw, it needs to be used for something meaningful.

Speaking of PTSD, at one point in Act 2, when MC is talking to Kelly in the office, some of the responses are labeled “Kelly” and others are labeled “Lacey.”
Is this a bug, or is there an explanation for this?

This story is engaging but extremely depressing. i just think that there is no way out for MC

I think the next deepfake will include Damian. I think MC will know it's a deep fake, but it'll reopen that wound

What if he saw one of Lacey’s videos back in Junior Year and blacked out and forgot about it?
We do have him saying something hurtful to Anna and scaring her off at that time but due to a seeming fugue state, doesn’t remember what it was

Remember, there will be multiple endings influenced by good_guy score. So while I think that's a potential ending, I don't think it's the only ending

So the suicide route could be a future possibility, I don't discount that and there is a convo in act 1 that explores what bothMC and Lacey would do if one of them died.

I think it defeats the current narrative of Lacey giving back to MC and trying to improve, but it could fit if this narrative fails, so the only way Lacey can give something back to MC is to remove herself from the equation.
It would be stupid since MC would crumble as he crumbled before, but this time he would not be "aloce" (I have my own toughts about how alone MC is).

Also what NO HAREM mean? no polyamory with MC at the center? or no fwb around? why spend so much time develloping the character relationships if that wouldn't be the case? maybe they will all move on?

It is a bug, there is another one during king weekend that has anna answer MC instead of Lacey, my game file is mostly all fixed, I can post it here later as a unofficial patch.
Also, going to the gym after coffee or after the jamie event are switched.

Are you sure? as far as I understand the good guy is a counter to "have fun" with different scenarios but getting to 0 would get a bad end, I can understand if the love counters could lead to different character endings.
