I'm playing a NG+ game of book 1 and hit something unusual. Day 101, I had a conference with the whole gang in the morning to discuss Camelot's situation. Then Emily talked about having 3 days. Everyone left and there's no buttons that allow movement out of the Crowley.
The quick links button is gone. The map button is gone. The internal links to the bedroom, bathroom, and portal are gone. Everything else from jukebox, save system, and forms of maintenance are present and working.
If I reload that save, Chloe appears but has no dialog options -- not even buying ingredients.
I would think this is the end of the book, but there wasn't a message saying save and move on.

It was a rhetorical question. I know the Bella Club still has issues with the end of bk 2. First time, I cried for a week, and stopped playing for 2 weeks. I'm on replay 50 something, and got it down to a steady half hour of crying, but able to continue. And Dr.TSoni, I think she liked catching the hammer more!
I realise that you have "resolved this issue" but I have the steam issue, I even purchased the game on steam and no matter which "fix" I try the settings and achievements are not updated to Steam nor are they stored localy or otherwise. books 1 and 2 work as they shoud.

Yep, the current version of bk 3 is borked. The settings for sound and text box opacity aren't persistent. The achievements have the same issue, and there is one more. Card backs. Even the ones carried over from each of the previous books are lost each time you close the game. It's not that big of a deal. Open the cheats to get all the card backs, I've gotten used to ignoring the notifications about achievements I've already gotten ten times, and setting the text box alpha, and music and sound levels at startup is second nature by now. I'm pretty sure Droid is aware of these issues and has said they will be corrected in the near future.
Well, that's got me beat... but, yeah, there are some gut wrenching moments. It's the mark of good writing when it hits you in the feels like that. I hate it and love it at the same time!

So... I know its post-game stuff but... defeating Hel is pretty much impossible if you dont play a lightning build to permastun her, right? I mean, as far as I see, she does not deal damage, she drains HP, 2000 with one hit, and that seems to be her standard attack, so even if I had put all my stats in Str she would two shot me, and something tells me dealing 20k damage in 2 turns is, if not impossible, at least not probable

You are right.. On Ultra, she needs only ONE hit and you are gone
So you need permastun and luck
Gotta say, I am happy I pushed through at first. When I started book 1, I almost quit right away, because honestly, the Character models were in some creepy uncanny valley territory, but I kept going, and now done with book 3 I have to say, worth it^^
I honestly ended up liking it more as a Story game than a porn game. It had weak spots, Book 3 was kinda let down after book 2, it felt a bit sluggish,but the ending really saved it, and as a whole, I loved the story alot^^

If the steam version currently is borked I definitely need to check it out, that's the 'official' build. I'll have a look tomorrow morning.
I accidentally render-sniped myself with the Tron 2 movie poster, and ended up having no choice but trying to remake it
