The fact that they are together and they just moved out of the place you use to share with them is why the game starts the way it does. Other girls with other dudes should be entirely in your control, but can happen if you screw something up.

Because with the girl that James cheats on his partner, technically it wouldn't be NTR... since she decides to enter your harem and becomes your sex slave, not a girlfriend as such. But she's not James' girlfriend either, she's more of a lover for him after meeting Emma.

James is the protagonist's best (and kind of foolish) friend. Once he arrives to the island, he's given a job as security guard in the spa once he arrives to Mohoro (and if you keep the gang I think he's the second in command) and leaves his wife Ema under the care of his best friend, while he gets a new lover Elena (and he doesn't seem to mind when either of them get pregnant by his best friend).

You have to make choice to avoid it, as they're written into storylines.
Lucky for you, most of the girls don't even have NTR route.

Lexi: First part of her storyline is about dealing with her gangsta "boyfriend", and end her "gang plaything" status. Later you can choose to be her new pimp, and pimp her out, she'll sleep with other specific guys and earn you money.
Sasha: If you didn't make her Love Point high enough (reach 50), she will hook up with her ex. (You can join in for a threesome though.)
Bree: Once you trigger Bree went to your office and bump into your boss Dwayne, he will task you to convince her to have sex with him. You can denied the request, and if your Love Point and Kink Point didn't reach enough amout, she will refuse.
(Forgot if you get to have a threesome though.)
Alexis: Your sex addict ex-girlfriend, every date has a NTR scenario. Even got a NTR storyline. (Avoidable, surprisingly.)

Can't quite remember, its been a while.
Judging by wiki kink point probably wasn't essential about pimping her, after all.
I do recalled if you met the requirement, you will bump into situation, and the option will appear.
(It's all optional, just make a quick save incase you felt you choose the wrong one.)

In the files for the game I notice various characters like Bree, Lexi, Reona, Harmony, Shiori, ect has background images (ie, not CG) for them working as pole dancers at the strip club. Does anyone know how to get them to do that? The wiki doesn't really say.
