Still missing the forest for the trees. There are other revenue streams than just Patreon. You don't even know if Patreon is their biggest source of revenue, because you can't know. You don't know anything, other than "Patreon numbers were X, now they're less than X". You're acting as if Patreon is some end-all, be-all and that if you're not making Patreon money it automatically means you're broke. Which is insane.

Word of mouth is in the gutter, as you are literally the only person I have seen defending the direction this dev is going in, on this site, with everything else I've seen being criticism, mockery and dejection at the loss of potential, in the last year.

And now you're making the same mistake again. You're assuming user opinions on F95, a PIRACY site (so you know, NOT paying users necessarily), are the end-all, be all for public interest, and if F95 users don't like it, then no one does.

Admitting failure even when stats are plummeting just hurts a project-creators ego way more, than moving on to the next idea.

If people on the site where NSFW-games are discussed nearly universally hate a concept, and it comes across on the sole available visible source of income that the creator has, that sure looks like a pattern to me.

Somehow, the combination of general unhappiness with the development, accompanied by falling patreon numbers creates more solid backbone to a theory that shit isn't going that great with the ol' Shawn game, rather than a theory that Andrealphus has a secretly growing and utterly silent cult of followers who spend all their money on the Shawn game, despite never touching the Patreon.

Sure, ultimately a theory nonetheless. Nothing is set in stone. Evolution is a theory, as is general relativity. And you choose to dismiss those theories as well, because they don't allign with what you'd prefer to be true, but that doesn't get rid of all the available evidence.

You have got nothing going for your argument, other than baseless desire, that things are going well. Whereas every data point points in the opposite direction.

And lets be real. The Shawn game is a fucking pointless joke and honestly a waste of time and resources just for a spin-off.

Unfortunately, I doubt the sister harem is viable, for the same reason Angela will never be a romantic option for Mike: they're blood relatives. I know, it's sad. Especially because it could have served to delve deeper into the protagonist's past, and how his breakup with Alexis affected those around the couple. Perhaps in the best-case scenario there could be a harem with Minami, Morgan, and one of the sisters (I don't know their last name, let's just say they're the Texas sisters), But unfortunately, never both sisters.
Regarding the spin-off, I personally liked it, although I would have preferred sex scenes that were integrated into the story, rather than being something at the end of the route or only for the dates
