A lot of events do require RNG, a specific location, a specific level of relationship, a previous event completed, or often all of the above.
Yeah, it would be lovely if someone updated the walkthrough. Or the phone hints system wasn't trash and actually got updated too. Hell, even the changelog saying "4 new events, 1 with X, 2 with Y, 1 with Z" "New CG, try going to the city in the evening with high relationship with X" seems simple and would be hugely appreciated. It's super frustrating seeing a new update, spending an hour playing and finding precisely none of the new content.

I cannot like this comment more than once but seriously. If you're going to make a game like this you need to have clear steps for players to understand how to do things. Otherwise it becomes an obnoxious game of whack-a-mole trying to hit the right set of triggers to play the game.
Last i checked the dev didn't put in all that effort just for people to get angry and leave nasty comments about their product. People actually want to play but are increasingly put off by not only the intended grind but the lack of clarity. You cannot have both of these elements in a game unless you want people to leave the game.

New scenes only, but hopefully it will be a nice push for people to complete it with the old scenes.
