Gotta say though I kind of agree with whosthatguy to a point. Having created a location (no matter whether it's a church as here or a beach) only available quite rarely screams "purpose" gameplay wise. Well, it has one (meeting Harmony) but that purpose only and we don't know it before. It would be great to have a reason to go to the church and attend mass other than pure curiosity (Mike wouldn't know he would meet her there) as with any other location - or if we would have met Harmony some place else and decide to go to (and through) mass to meet her again. Gameplay wise it feels a bit off.

Again, I do not come from the church angle (though you're certainly correct about it being seen very differently in the US and parts of Europe, although the difference within Europe also is huge) but from a gameplay angle.

Within this game are dozens of locations. The game gives you reasons to go there - you buy at the different stores at the mall, you work at the office, you learn at the university, you will be asked to go to the water park, you can have dates on the beach, you train at the gym, and so on.

The only reason to go to the church is to meet Harmony. But you don't know that. Unlike Bree's café (or room) or Aletta's office you will not know that somebody will be there. Or even some stores at the mall, where you see the icons of girls in the overview. No other girl visits this location. So basically the game gives you no incentive to visit a specific location, you cannot do something useful in game there, while every other location does have incentives and other uses besides "meeting somebody". This feels odd. I do understand that exploring your surroundings and finding something hidden can also be rewarding, but it is curious to limit this to one location only, also not to then also have an empty location.

This is not a bad thing in and of itself, it just feels slightly off and a strange design choice. As well as mass only giving a negative effect - having a completely useless option in a game is also pretty rare. Because players will try it once and then avoid it so it does nothing for the game. It'd be akin to some "spend $100 for charity" option which does nothing except that you lose $100.

I never get the "it's only a porn game" personally. I want a nice game which actually is a game with characters I care about. This one is one of those. So I care about the extra posts. If I only wanted porn, I'd go for porn. Graphics are way better.

(This is not to say that I'd oppose more sex scenes and more clothes. Especially if you could "Barbie" the girls, so decide what they wear from the clothes they have and you gave them)

Speaking of Harmony, there's something about this game that's been bugging me.

After you meet Harmony, it would appear that attending mass on Sundays (as Mike) not only does nothing, but is in fact worse than doing nothing: you lose more fun than simply waiting. And no, I'm not looking to get into any religious arguments, but from a gameplay perspective, a once-per-week event shouldn't be the worst possible thing your character can do. I'd suggest it should give a knowledge point. Possibly a charm. I'd say at the very least, it should increase LP with Harmony, but if you blew the event with Harmony, mass would return to useless. If the whole point of mass is to meet Harmony that one time, it should be removed afterward so players don't get duped into wasting stats.

Maybe it holds some benefit if you're playing Bree, like morality points? I don't know. I haven't played Bree. But that's not an excuse for giving the Mike player an opportunity to do something once a week only to have it be a horrible idea.

TBH I would love it is going to church would do something not easily noticeable, like make you lucky for the day. or perhaps slightly nudge the odds for random events

I don't seem to have the option to talk to Anna about TV, as shown below. I've read that you need to improve the knowledge skill to unlock the ability to talk about TV, but mine is at 100 and I don't seem to have it. I have tried lowering my skill and then raising it again, both through the cheats and studying, but it does not seem to allow me to learn the skill.

Anyone know if there's any console command or some such that might let me just add the skill?

Ok. One question about Sasha/Scottie blowjob. How to trigger it? WK is not very specific, it's just offers vague info ( Prerequisites: Sasha LP < 50, Sasha is in her room, hallway. Mike enters the hallway and can chose to peep on Scottie and Sasha. ) Is there more prerequisites than WK mentions? Done Scottie appears, done Scottie talk, lp under 50, and despite, for more than a week nothing happens. Is it random event based on luck if you run into it? Is it happening on specific time and day?

Then go through a day/sleep cycle... and try again

at some point you need to "Rub one out" use the bathroom at the church.

As I understand it, that was the wrong decision he made.

I wouldn't know of any console command to change that though. That's one of the fun parts of this game: you will fuck up and lose one of the girls (you didn't need to lose to keep/get another).

From what I have seen posted to avoid it you need to get Sasha's love above 50 before you Scottie knocks on the door. So if you want to see it you keep it below 50 and in the evening you keep stopping by the hallway until it triggers.

Thanks for the feedback you two, it was a lost cause anyway. I might probably scour out a save file with all the girls unlocked once I'm done with my playthrough.

I just did the Alexis slave route for the first time... man does it feel terrible, out of all the scumbag moves you can make in this game this is by far the the worst, it feels actively manipulative and abusive whereas before/aside from this Mike is at worst a 'manipulative cheater' type of character, dishonest but not actively pernicious, I mean its a hard line from the "ASSERT DOMINANCE" of other slave routes into "BREAK THEM DOWN" from certain doujin games.
I understand you can only get it by going the "Bad" route with her storyline but man I was not ready for it
