Others - Love99 [demo] [GuiRM]

Pretty fun. Not entirely one dimensional as many other games. Keeps you entertained and hooked till the end. Graphics and feeling of this game are what you would hope from a pixel art game. Full points. I hope this gets more development.

- Gameplay
It's a dating sim with time management in it. Nothing strange or amazing about it tbh. The controls are weird though. It has point and click features for the map and areas, can even click to skip dialogue with clicking, but then it also limits what can be used with the mouse which is annoying. I get the general idea of what was going on but it still feels like the controls are AGAINST the player. The sex mini games are annoying and clunky as well, the timing is off or does not match what the game is saying to do. I'm not sure if the point is to simulate a fumbling guy not only in game but in controls as well. The z input parts work in a weird way, in order to progress and make her cum you have to hit the button at the right time. To early and it goes faster, to late and slower. There is a rhythm to it but as you are trying to learn it her climax meter goes down and your stamina goes down for every missed perfect. It's ridiculous how much it wants you to balance for a simple mini game. Skills are used as well in and out of sex so unless your just ignoring activities like gym or arcade then you should have some by the second week.

- Storyline
Pretty basic. Think Hunie pop but 8 bit and no candy crush mini game. You summon a dating fairy and she helps you get women. As far as the demo's main girl, Lisa, you and her have met and seen each other around college but never really spoke. Basically she's the tutorial level.

- Content
It's a demo but the Lisa story has multiple positions to choose from as well as a gallery to view previously seen stuff, and able to see just the animation and not just play the game, whether you did it right or not. Even has a menu for various other things such as stats, girls, etc. Again it just suffers because of the lack of player friendly controls. I do find it annoying that the only time you can see Lisa is at college. Like again, demo, but still you'd think she'd be at some other location rather than maybe seen twice per week at college.

- Artstyle
It's that 8 bit kind of stuff but looks good and clear enough to know whats what. Not much else to really say though as the backgrounds and minor characters are just kinda there.

- Overall
I really think this is a cool idea, but the author it just needs some fine tuning on controls and key input. Would like to see a bar during sex mini games that show where to hit vs feeling my way through the dark. Especially on a short demo.

Personally most are going to be playing with one hand so having the option to use mouse or keyboard only would be good.

I'm giving it 3 because it looks good but if it continues like this for the full game then its not going to get more than 3 on average."
