Yet another flawed masterpiece, is how I would describe this game.

It has a lot of grind, glitches, and is (very) hard to 100% without a walkthrough.

It still left a mark (lol) on me. It's one of a kind. The fact that doing whatever you want can have bad consequences is already a subversion of the genre. The game feels rewarding, and rarely stale. It has its sexy moments that feel unique. Even some of the plot made me entertained.

This is one for posterity. If you can accept its slavic-style rough edges.

Another game that's a major grind, however, unlike Man of the House, there's no quest markers, or in-game hints at all! It's a complete blind slog randomly finding a few things to do, but basically unplayable without the walk-through and cheat mod. The other major flaw is the impossible "star" system created for major scenes where you're required to plod through dozen of choices & pick the perfect ones required, or the scene fails. A complete failure by the Dev to understand his audience, IMO.
If you plod on with the WT & cheat like me, the art is solid & some scenes are clever, so it's not 0 stars...

There is no time-limit so DO NOT rush and try to immerse yourself even if you make lots of mistakes. No need to save scum.

the renders are pretty damn good and there are A LOT of scenes. there are some animations. story is decent. there are some music tracks + sound effects but they're poorly implemented. the english translation is horrendous; you will only be able to comprehend maybe every 2nd or 3rd line of dialogue. the game is very buggy. it's up to you to decide if the juice is worth the squeeze on this one.

First of all, the game have unavoidable NTR (netorare). Just in case the tag isn't there.

Mark may be lucky, but anyone that try this game is definitely not.
This is the biggest definition of waste o f time I have ever seen in all my years in this site.

Sadly, the game is impossible to play without cheats. Not only it is fcking annoying to grind relationship AND sympathy points, the game then adds hunger/energy and other metrics that are just broken.
One example, sleeping resets your hunger to zero. Normally you'd wake at 8 or 9 so the first thing you must do is eat. But then the NPCs have breakfast at 10, and in order to progress you have to eat again, which makes you totally waste a few hours just because the game was not correctly designed.

So, then you download the cheat mods...
Cool, now every need is 100 and you can skip the grind maxing everything.
But then, even now things don't happen naturally. You need an exact day and hour to talk to the NPCs to advance in the story. Without the walkthrough it would be way too boring skipping everything to try combinations.

Then you start progressing. I focused on Elena, the boss wife. Then you discover that quests starts to overlap, so you need to do others.
By now story is just ridiculous, and I only reading it from time to time since I already lost interest in it way earlier.
Then I looked in the WT to see how much I needed in other quests to get to where I wanted to be with Elena. Then I see the unavoidable netorare...

And to be fair, I did the -stupid- choices you have to make to trigger the ntr (and progress the story lmao) and the scene wouldn't even that big of a deal. Surely, I dislike netorare. But I could see that being acceptable bcz there is a resemblance of a reason for that to happen. And that's one of the major problems of the game. If you force yourself to keep playing, you can see that there is a heart somewhere, but it was completely lost in the total chaos that it became.

    So...
    -It is written in engrish.
-MC is dumb and a simp, uninteresting.
-LI ain't too bad, but not that great as well.
-Story is terrible, partially because of engrish, but also because it just really makes no sense.
-The whole programmer thing in the beginning made me laugh at least, makes no sense.
-You can only progress with clicks, no ctrl to skip or spacebar to progress.
-Then there's the sound, too much noise added (sfx all over the place) and dev couldn't even make your changes to the options persistent. After a while they reset.
-And overall, too much forced content. There are no real choices here. You have an exact string of choices you must do to get to more content. The netorare scenes are just the icing on the cake.

    Pros:
    - Excellent models, graphics, animation is present.
    - There is a possibility of a game over (i consider it as a plus).
    - It is also not necessary to do all the side quests, except for your own entertainment.
    - Events are thought out and logical.
    - There is a finished storyline.
    - The characters feel "alive".
    Cons:
    - The finale of the game leaves an aftertaste of "rushed", as if the ending was written in a hurry.
    - There are unfinished events: Zari, Anna with Bill, Jessica, and in my opinion Elena with Christina (when sunbathing).
    - Lots of grind, really a lot. Grinding is necessary for sandboxes, but given that the MC parameters drop over time, it is too much.

Considering that, according to the author, this is his first project and he worked alone, the work for the first project was done very well. Solid 4.

P.S. Some people think that the game has too few hints, this is neither a plus nor a minus. On the contrary, I don’t like it when the game directly tells me: “you need to take oils and smear her back, you need to buy oil in the store, the online store is on the desktop of the computer (surprise)”. Why not make a "finish the game" button then, m?

I'm posting my review right after I pass. I really liked the game, it has a lot of fetishes and spicy scenes, especially femdom lovers should like it. It feels like the author's skill grew as the game progressed, the final scenes began to look super high quality and the author transferred this quality to his next game "Amnesia".
Of the minuses, I can note a lot of unfinished routes that directly asked for a continuation (like the theme with gymnastics or with my sister) and a rather hardcore grind, which I mastered without cheats, but it took a lot of time.
This game needs a director's cut that completes all dead end routes, fixes bugs, and rebalances the economy.

    Graphics 7/10
The game has all high-quality rendering and cute models.

Animations 5/10 at the beginning and 8.5/10 at the end

    Music 6.5/10
The rating could have been higher if there were no bugs with the music, the music selection itself is good.

    Scenario 6,5/10

    Text 6/10
In general, everything is written very well, but there are many spelling errors and typos.

    Gameplay 5/10
A lot of grinding and repetition of the same actions can be easily repaired by rebalancing, but the author will hardly take it.

In general, I still give this game 5 stars, because it receives an undeserved amount of hatred, the game is worthy in its genre and I can recommend it.

The renders will pull you in initially but just like other sandboxes, the level of grinding you have to do is insane. According to other reviews, there is a good game underneath this if you decide to use cheats and the walkthrough but I like to experience the base game, as is, so for me it wasn't a fun time.

    Pros
+ Elena (blond wife) is the only character with redeeming qualities and looks.

    Cons
    - it takes way too long to beat the game, not only because of grind but in later stage you simply spam skip hours to get to specific days of the week, and often you have to repeat these same events to progress in story.
    - For a "corruption" tag the protagonist behaves like a pussy bitch 80% of the time and only persuades the girls by extreme brown-nose ass kissing. Big Brother [Dark Silver] did everything this game did but 200x better.
    - tastes are different yes, but all the girls are so bland and boring, not only personality wise but even looks, proportions, skin, clothing. With the exception of maybe Elena, the appearance and sexiness of the girls the probably the most average I have ever seen in a 3DCG Western VN.
    - Even the male characters are ugly, including the protagonist. (Usually this is a non-issue, but for a game that takes this long it will go on your nerves eventually)

    Conclusion
The game tries to be like Dark Silver's - Big Brother but fails horribly at every single point. And whenever you get your hopes up with rising expectations, you will be met with a boring, repetitive and extremely unrewarding waste of time.

Mixed feelings overall - the route to get there is painful but then this game achieves some great looking art renders and animations.

For me, it wasnt the grinding persay that was a problem - it was the inherent interconnectedness of the character quests that made it so frustrating. Sandboxes with many different characters in different house locations at many times of day can be fun if you can make progress with one independent of others. Unfortunately here, everyone's on more or less the same set of rails, with their quests being small tributaries from the main line.

Having said that, still 4 stars because some of the scenes are competitive in art and animation quality with the best on the site, especially with the multi-angle camera animations. If the game had a better hint guide or quest tracker included, easily could be 5 stars - and this is much easier to fix than fundamentally poor art- and the interface is fairly intuitive compared to the typical unity "hotspot hunt" games.

Dialogue has some translation issues, which isn't a problem in flavor text but can be ambigious when important decision-making screens come up.

Has some third act problems, but what game doesn't?

Summary: Great art, great animations, great scenes, poor grind, rocky dialogue, good ui.

This game is begging for a Renpy remake because the models are quite good, and the story has potential.
Unfortunately, in its current state it's nearly unplayable.
Super grindy sandbox with horrible hint system.
Translation so bad, you literally have to guess at what is going on sometimes.
Animations are not very good, making the payoff for all the grind not really worth it.
MC needs a rewrite on his personality, as spineless beta sub gets old pretty quick.
NTR needs to be made completely avoidable, as having that blow up on you after days of grinding is pretty horrible.
I hear Devs next game is pretty good, but still having nightmares from this grind fest, so it will probably be a while before I try it.

character designs are very good, good story but there's no really helping quest log in game so you can easily miss important events and play again whole week, and a week is long... so you can miss again, and play again and get bored... if dev mae a good in game quest log kind of thing, if we would know what to do more clear, that would be a great game. definitly 4 maybe even 5 star...

It's a nice game but it has too many flaws to be sufficient.
    2/5.
    - Let's start by saying that the game is not really finished, so if you are looking for a complete game this is not for you.
    - The music is there (better than nothing), but it's very casual, it doesn't go well with the events.
    - Without a guide it is practically impossible to finish certain events.
    - The progressive relationship of the characters is very confusing. It's not entirely bad.
    - Some characters are introduced but there are very few interactions with them (I'm not just talking about female characters).
    - The game is more linear than you think, there are not many paths to choose.
    - The art are nice. The animations are not bad but it was better not to put them.
    - The game also lacks a gallery, to be able to see past events with complete peace of mind.
    - The dialogues certainly could not all be redone, so I understand, but it is not nice to see that even once the relationship between two characters has advanced, some events, even if done later, are carried out in the past (the dialogues imply this). Of course, all games of the genre have this flaw, it's not just this game that fails, but a flaw is a flaw, it's not a subjective thing.
    - Without any kind of outside help, the game is too slow and boring.
    I don't recommend the game.

Dialogue is not English. Every time you want to load a save you have to go through the intro tutorial before you can actually load your save game. Audio settings reset every time you load the game, and the default music level is ridiculously loud

This may or might not be a game in which feelings are positive in regards to my opinion if the future is correct based on some assumptions I did not make nor you, but I am sad to report I am misgivings due to very bad English.

Sure, I can understand what the characters are saying and how the narrative progresses, but the quality of this Russian-to-English translation is pretty much par for the course with eroges: horrible. Considering there are 658 pages on this forum and 150+ reviews I find it shocking there hasn't been a fan effort to rewrite it into palatable text, but perhaps the author refused.

tl;dr impossible to enjoy because of the infuriating translation

Lucky Mark [v18.0] (2.5/5 stars). This review contains spoilers.

Lucky Mark is a great game, when it works. The game starts and ends with a word of apology. With little instructions on what to do next, the game transitions into a free roam sandbox, forcing you to perform tasks in a blind, trial and error fashion. The game is unforgivably harsh with RNG pass checks and game over screens. There’s nothing intuitive or self-explanatory about maintaining stats. For example, why be chaste when it seems every interaction hinges on the lust attribute? Why is luck a hidden attribute, and when do I need it? And lastly, where do I go?

In short, Lucky Mark is unplayable without subverting the game design in some way: walkthroughs, cheats, mods, or editing saves. There is no getting around the fact there will be some obstacle blocking your progress. A fair amount of the enjoyment comes from being a diagnostician, figuring out what went wrong and how to proceed.

The main draw of the game are the cast. The short course is Mark leaves his family to go abroad to Bill’s house, where there’s a group of sexually repressed women: Elena, Bill’s trophy wife; a sadistic, icy blonde and Christina, the innocent step-daughter. Elena verbally abuses Mark, taking out her frustrations out on him and on Annie, the MC’s younger sister. Jennifer (Christina’s friend) and Zari (the family maid), Mia (Cheng's girl), and Katerina (Christina’s mom) are introduced and they are wonderfully designed, if underutilized.

The models are well-customized and unique, realistic proportions, attractive faces and bodies. Their looks match their personalities quite well, and the scenarios involving the characters are erotic, sexy. A turn-on. Of course, it depends entirely on what a person finds arousing. There’s a lot of buildup before Mark gets lucky, teasing, massaging, dream sex, fantasy sequences, and sleep sex (non-consensual sex involving drugs and alcohol), and voyeurism (borderline NTR with Bill). After all that, there are minigames during the sex scenes which involves a clicking a series of choices in a defined order to fully access the sexual content. That’s the other problem, there are no grand payoffs after dealing with the mechanics of the game, only small victories, which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense as the narrative is a template for the debauchery laying ahead.

In that sense, seeing this game as an excuse for porn, the writing is fine. The dialogue is unintentionally funny because the Russian to English translation is amusingly crude. Mark frequently says “I will process you!” during sex, or remarks like “My cock is on full alert!” as if he were a robot—no doubt such a machine translated Lucky Mark. The writing is less stilted, if stylistically clunky in later scenes. The language barrier ruins the dark, coarse, abrasive tone the game sets out for itself, most evident in the relationship between Bill and Elena. The scenes in the pool, as comical as Bill is as a villain, efforts into characterization are better than none. This is a variation on the classic wish-fulfillment, harem fantasy game, though it's unique in the sense the game is finished, and the developer follows through on the premise. The characters do not grow virtuous, or turn likable at any point; remarkably they double down on their flaws. Mark starts off as an overly submissive, weak character with a depraved mind, and he ends up corrupting all the women around him; their fall is Mark's gain. Elena's still a bitch (Mark's words) and Katerina is even more of a bitch. Christina is your wife, Zari your fucktoy, and Annie is reduced into a brocon. There isn't much of a fall, nor the satisfaction of wishful desire, since the characters remain largely the same, the MC supplants Bill's place of authority, his grip on them is based on financial rather than psychological motivations. Nevertheless, the end result is satisfyingly self-indulgent and lurid, and the content of the last update almost justifies the tedium and languor of the gameplay with the base excessiveness of the porn-like scenarios, and one wishes the whole game was like this: straightforward and to the point.

Lucky Mark is overengineered for what it is. The game piles on system upon system to pad out the content, of which there is a fair amount. Yet, despite the file size, Lucky Mark is missing some basic features. There’s no replay function, no galleries, no dialogue rollback/skip feature. In the main menu, the loading screen is tucked away, and save spots are limited. Since a lot of the events, nearly all endgame material, are non-repeatable, the only way to see these scenes a second time is through juggling saves. The lack of polish and quality control is highly regrettable. The music selection during the sex scenes are nice, a mix of Slavic-Arabic trap music and poppy tunes. (Coincidentally, the scenarios feel very Russian, as shown in the real-life porn clips and images used in the game). However, these tracks often overlap with the sound effects and the uninspired, looped background music, resulting in a wall of sound. And while the render quality is clean, with decent composition and lighting, the animations are choppy and inconsistent, eventually graduating from stop-motion to smoother animations at the end. Under the rubble of bad decisions of game design and balance, there’s great ideas and potentialities hidden underneath. As it stands, Lucky Mark is theoretically worth your time and effort if you take the developer's apologies to heart. Recommended with caveats.

I played this because I am a huge fan and supported of the other fantastic game of the dev "amnesia".

Well. you can see that he was not as proficient back than as he is now, the models look nice but unlike amnesia the animations are bad.

I normally love free roam and I like grinding if it is rewarding and done in a fun way. Unfortunately this is not the case here, this grind takes a lot of time and the clunky interface is not helping to level your stats smoothly.

During some scences you often have skill checks or worse have to guess what action to make without ANY hint what is right. If you choose wrong you can wait sometimes a whole week before you can repeat it and hopefully guess right.

The hint system is terrible, most of the time you don't know what you have to do next.

I stopped playing after failing for the fifth time watching the movie together with the daughter.,you have to touch when she is focused on an "intense" scene. What is an "intense" scene? No hint whatsoever and when you guess 1 time wrong the event is stopped and you can wait a whole week again.
We are speaking of over 20 images where 3 allow you to process further... And after that there are other movie events...

Sorry but this game is a waste of time, I can only recommend all to play the amnesia instead.

Pretty much dog shit through and through. Bad interface, bad plot, bad options, bad English, unintuative dumpster fire of a game. It's a directionless hint free wander fest that if your lucky you'll stumble onto wtf your supposed to be doing. The polish on the 3dcg is somehow expected to make up for this abysmal shit heap of a game. It doesn't, one star out of 5 is being generous. The only "Mark" is the "unlucky" unsuspecting person who downloads this 12.5 gig waste of bandwidth.

This.... okay let me just say that this rating is more so for the mod and not the actual game the art for the game gets a star and the mod gets the other 2 stars...

I played this game quite some time ago and dropped it because of the absolutely disgusting translation. The english in this game is worse then MTL games. I thought if I left it alone for a while (about a year and a half or so now) that someone would give it a better translation or the creator would fix it himself by using MTL instead of whatever broken english this came out of.

The english isn't all that makes this game bad. It is clearly poorly made and super tedious without the mod. Nothing feels like it works and the music they play just makes your ears bleed. Some of the music is obviously ripped from other games and then some of the music I swear some of the music sounds like they have 2 songs slammed together to create something new(I could be wrong but it makes you want to stab your ears out.)

The only good thing that was created about this game FROM the creator was the art. The story could be good... if you can understand anything being said. I ended up just not reading any of the text after a while and tried to understand the story without it.

    +2 stars for the mod
    +1 star for the art

Looks great. Undertone is awful and there is pretty much no solid relationship here. Waaaaay to fucking much tedious time wasting. Too many gotta do exactly X at X time in X place shit. Game is unplayable without the mod to keep your stats at 100 or allow you to change time to what you want/need.
