I agree with the others on the pacing, it's a bit strange that you get a call and spawn in front of the school, art is great, love the warm feeling, I actually liked the story so far but having more options would be better. Hope this turns out great

I like how light hearted this game is. I can't say I like how some of the writing is going. Everything's very rushed. I like Skye quite a bit and it's a shame that she feels like bait to catch interest for the game but little else. Would have been nice to take time to get to know her.

Peeking on a a potential LI getting railed is gonna stir up some negative opinions too. I personally don't mind if it because it feels more realistic then the usual fair but, I'm not sure if that will be properly communicated with the way it's written at this time. I'd say if the story is kept to a slice of life sorta style it would do well.

Unfortunately we're all but slapped in the face with the idea that the MC is special. We get a summary of the super rare mythical ultra wizard "Unbound" shortly before we break a wand and get dunked on...so the MC is obviously the Chosen One. The idea of exploring a foreign culture from the inside as an outsider is way more interesting then being a chosen one given the setting. If the story beats were better articulated and more context was given when appropriate I could see it being more interesting though.

Consider a comparison of popular characters for example. Kazuma is much more interesting and amusing then Kirito. So what I'm saying is please don't make the MC like that, he doesn't have to be Kazuma either though.

I hope the dev refines their craft and the game survives the screeching from the vanilla harem unicorns. Guess we'll see.

EDIT - I toned down the language a bit in my review, it looked more hostile then I felt when I wrote it.

    Review for Ch2 v0.5

I'll give the credit where it's due, the art is very cute. It brings to life the warm magical academy vibe the game has going. I think the art is really what's carrying the game though, as I find the rest of it a bit bland.

In this world humans and anthros as the game calls them don't really get along. Our human MC however, gets chosen to attend an all-anthro magical academy. Outside of the anthro element, what follows is your pretty typical academy-type story so far. Some standard "human trash you shouldn't be here" bullying, you make a friend, attend some classes, and get hinted that you're of course special and have been chosen for a deeper reason. The game is sort of forgettable in that way as it's not really doing anything new. But that itself could still be fine if the writing around it was good. That's my next issue unfortunately

Edit: Read that English isn't the dev's first language which makes this next point more forgivable in my eyes. Still stands though, but good context to have.

I was struggling trying to figure out a way to word it, but the writing feels almost juvenile. Especially with the way the MC talks and acts. If it wasn't for the lewd elements, this feels to me like it was written for say a younger audience. For example, there's a scene where the MC breaks a wand in front of the class he's in, and it reads like this:
    MC "I... WHA..."
MC "NO! I DIDN'T MEAN TO, PROFES-"
    Professor "Report to the principal"
    MC "BUT.. BUT I
    Professor "Now please"

Followed by the MC "bolting" upright, going to the principles, and freaking out on her wondering why everyone is being so mean to him and "what did I do to deserve this" blah blah blah. If I'm equating this to magical college, the MC does not seem mature enough to be here. Maybe all just personal preference, but I think lacking in maturity is a great way to put the writing actually.

The first sex scene the game just kinda throws at you. A girl you barely talk to twice sneaks into your dorm and wants to fuck. Sure, but to me it's forgettable. You have sex, throw in some regular sex dialogue, and then she just leaves. Don't have much attachment to that love interest. The other sex scene in the current build is you peeking in on a love interest getting fucked by her boyfriend. The scene makes it clear he's thinking about another girl while fucking her and they'll probably break up, but I'm sure this will be very controversial to many people regardless so I figured I'd mention it. Scene seems to happen off screen regardless if you skip it, but the game also ends right there rather abruptly so hard to say for sure. Again the art is nice though.

I can see why someone might like this, especially since furry games are a bit of a rarer breed, but I can't say I'm invested. Didn't hate it per say either, but it lacks the depth I usually like out of my AVNs

Although it is the only beggining, i hope this project won't be abandoned like other, because this beatiful style is too gorgeous to just fade away. Although animations need an improvment, but art itself is beautiful.

This game is very short at the moment but what is here is a very nice experience. The art is absolutely gorgeous and the style is very warm, its clear a lot of effort is being put into it with each character making expressions and hand gestures that actually relate to what they are saying at the moment rather than sprites with a few default states. Even the backgrounds are clearly painstakingly made and I feel that does a lot for the game. I can only say that this is what a magical academy should feel like, warm, vibrant, and visually interesting. I can only imagine how much time some of those tiling patterns took to make but it was defiantly worth it as it really just makes the world feel good. On top of that all of the girls are attractive and the one scene in the game is extremely hot so I look forward to more. The story is nice so far as well but I do hope for some more world building as humans are clearly the aggressors in a war at the moment and yet are clearly magically inept, I am hoping that the humans are at least better with tech than the Anthos or something otherwise the setting will not make sense as if we have worse magic and tech we would realistically just get steamrolled and the war wouldn't even be a concern. A little worldbuilding goes a long way, but that's really my only concern and I'd say this game deserves a playthrough on its art alone at the moment. I am excited to see where this goes.
