so.... none of the "cheats" work? downloaded and tried 3, can't seem to open console by pressing Shift + O. guess its back to trusty old URM

You need to enable the console. There's a file... 00console.py or something like that in one of the folders. Search for "False" and you will find something like developer console = False. Change it to True and it will work.
Played this back in highschool.
Now I'm 25 and already become a lawyer and this game is nowhere near being finished.

or you can google in AI mode - how to re-enable developer console if shift+o is disabled in renpy ?

even if you change the value to true when you launch the game the console window is still blocked.
Can you tell me why the console commands aren't working? The console opens, I enter the code, and nothing happens.

I have gone into the 00console.rpy file and changed the line to true, yet still can't open the console. Anyone know why? I have tried Shift+O and Shift+D. Have a scandinavian keyboard if that changes anything
Unsure how, but got it to work... followed the guide for the file created by oneself. Fucked it up by having init999 for dev console, got error when starting. Removed and started, now have access to console...
