Strange, for some reason it disappeared from the "latest updates"
All games from Inceton got blacklisted months ago from Latest Updates since they added DRM.

The DRM has been removed for a while now, but until the developer files a ticket to get it restored their games can't be promoted.

hope the links are safe and the thread removal from latest was just another purpose, wont download it for now just as a safety measure, what if?
The links are fine you can see who shared them, hint hint, it was me...

Has anyone played the current update and went thru the Megan quests?

I went thru all of that, guitar, eating pizza, some scenes, and most of all, the heartfelt conversation where you find out a lot about Megan's personality. However, once you're done with that loop, I thought that I would either see a "complete" on Megan quests window or a message saying that I should complete X with Zoe to continue (as usual in some linked characters, and it would make sense with these 2 characters due to the current ongoing issue).
Nothing of the sorts happen, I see the quest on Megan reads the same, so I decided to repeat it in case there was a different or new variable as result of the previous loop and newly obtained information about her, but nothing like that happens. It's a full restart of the loop.

Has anyone encountered this issue? I decided to pause on that and proceed with Zoe to see if anything changes. I'm sort of expecting a half-conclusion after I'm done with both paths.

Note: The crossroads is the tequila question for me. I selected the non-tequila one to reach where I'm at, and never picked the other. Didn't even try it cause apparently I was on the right track, but then I gave it a go, didn't load a save, I just went for the tequila option after I've completed the path mentioned above, and now the Megan's Quest window makes reference a that the Tequila wasn't a good idea and that I should try without it (making it sound like I haven't done that already). Basically, the Megan's quest window is not recognizing the completion of having both options already selected, played, looped.

That I get, but it's the first time I know that the mods here can ROLLBACK a thread from being in Latest Updates.

View attachment 5288946 just in case change the variables.
Thanks for the tip! I've been using it, and although I didn't change of the variables, I was able to get it done. It's obvious to me that the update is somewhat "bugged".

What I did was, after getting the full convo done with Megan, went to Zoe, did her full convo as well, then the game still showed I need to talk with Megan without tequila. Replayed that, and finally the story continue afterwards.

I did notice I could change the Megan completion variable when I completed Zoe's, URM showed me which one it was, but by then it wasn't really that necessary.

Only last issue would be at the end. After both paths merge, at what I'm assuming is the end of the current version when you get the "More coming soon..." message, you're then sent to the map, and the Megan's Quest window is still showing her last quest as unsolved.

I'm going to assume, once again, that's bugged, and just make a save there and wait until the next update.

They wanted be banned from here, because of piracy.DRM was the most fun shoot in their feet lost 600 patrons so he had to cut the cheapest vodka from their leaders and drink pinga.great managers educated in princeton. And gave up from DRM even the patrons complained and was useless.he thinks he is ubisoft,EA.

No, if you follow the game thread for their game and check them, then, no? If you rely on "latest updates" then you probably missed a whole bunch of other games and updates.

Indeed, awful rule
It isn't....do you want to download a game you can't play because you needed a Patreon login at the time? You understand what DRM is right?

I've never come across this, but I googled it and roughly figured it out. Some kind of anti-piracy shit like Denuvo? Well, in that case, the ban is justified, but if there is no more DRM, why continue to ban?

The thing is we don’t know if the lack of DRM for recent updates is going to be a regular thing or not. Inceton’s main coder has been away for about a month now and will be back in the office for the coming week. It’s entirely possible that with the return of Inceton’s main coder, DRM could also come back.

It’s also entirely possible that DRM has been ditched. But we don’t know that.

Either way, they’d have to appeal the ban I believe, and besides a couple of the writers being here (Paperboat, LT3 and LB1’s writer, and ReiCaixa, RoT’s writer, who both regularly communicate on these forums), Inceton absolutely despises this place. They told their patrons to go mass positive review LB1 on its initial releases just to mess with the staff here. You might notice that you can’t review Lust Bound on here.

Bunch of arrogants, its so good to pirate them.buying vodkas and cigarretes are all they do.he has only 1800 patrons and 30 workers.the salary must be 150 dólares and a Pack of cigarretes and The cheapest vodka.thot on trail sold poorly 9 player per Day.
Whatever your gripe with Inceton at large, I find it in bad taste to color our entire staff and team in this way. By coloring all of us as arrogant, buying vodka and cigarettes, you are also tarring a lot of people (including myself) with a brush that I believe is very much undeserved. Whatever your issues with Inceton at large are, I don't believe it is just to talk this way.

I have never bothered to involve myself in conversations regarding piracy and F95. As I hope some on this thread might attest to, I try to treat everyone here with respect and as fans of the game, giving what information I can and listening to you all.

I don't involve myself in the whole debate on piracy because what matters to me first and foremost is sharing a project I am passionate about and love writing, and engaging with fans to make it the best it can be. And yes, part of that comes with the hope that more people will think to invest and support Inceton where they can. But primarily, I want to create something people love, and I know I am not the only person on Inceton's staff who treats their work this way.

So it is pretty hurtful to (by extension of being on the Inceton team) be called arrogant, or for anyone to suggest I am filling my time with alcohol, and while I will never call anyone out for pirating, at the same time, I find it pretty distasteful to take satisfaction from it.

I try not to get into my personal life on here, but I am a father, supporting a family, and the sole earner in my household. I have struggles with my mental health. I don't have the cash to be throwing any money on vodka or cigarettes (not that I smoke). I have all this going on, but I make it my mission, morning to night, 7 days a week to write the best darn game I can, wanting to create something players can laugh with, enjoy, something that is hot and sexy, but can also be deep and resonant.

Again, I appreciate that you have issues with Inceton, and this message is not meant to discredit or write off those grievances. These are not something I am going to weigh in on. I don't know the situation. Still, it is disheartening to hear anyone calling out our staff and me like this. And while I'll stress again, I have never made any comment nor ever will on people's decision to pirate, to boast of taking joy in doing because you know it will deprive others, does not feel great.

Whatever else you think of Inceton, everyone on the team (not just me) has a life, responsibilities, and burdens. This is not a guilt trip to make anyone become a Patreon; this is more about simply decency in this space. I care about the games I'm writing. I care what you all think of my work, whether you are a paying Patreon subscriber or picking up the game here.
