bro i've been skipping these nicole, sophie and amy events for over an hour now when tf is Elizabeth back into the plot maaane... Is it really just the intro scene with her and thats it for season 2? What a waste of space and time this game was, only season 1 is worth playing it and only because of the tease with the Milf, that's about it.

I feel that they've hired a new writer, normally the dialogues of Inceton's games aren't that consistant or well crafted
Your instincts are on the money. I'm the 'new writer' in question. I took over the writing and narrative design for Lust Theory S3 and am also the writer and story designer for Lust Bound.
It's really great to hear that my writing style and approach to the story feel like improvements to you. Thanks for that. Hope you continue to feel this improvement going into the future.

If you share a save in the point you're stuck at, I may take a look.
It's difficult to suggest anything based just on the description, since I played S2 ages ago.
I had what seemed a circular reference where I had to talk to Nicole or Ellie but was 'attacked' by Zoe in front of the school every day with the same text and no new element inside the school either. Now I did a last try so I can describe it and got a different result :) Maybe it was tied to a specific day of the week or I don't know. In any case it resolved itself, thanks for the help offer!

I have to say:

"I........................."

WHAT?! You mean person!
You know exactly what I'm referring to.
Yeah, that was a little mean, but I like to think it is all for the greater good.

I make no secret that I've not been giving our hero an easy ride in LT3. As I've mentioned before, one of my big passions for taking on Lust Theory was to push the personal connection between the MC and the girls in his life. But, more than that, I also wanted to have moments where we explore the negative consequences of being in a perpetual time loop.

For seasons one and two, we got to have a blast doing whatever we wanted, consequence-free. The time loop felt great, and it was a paradise for shenanigans.

I don't want to take that feeling away. I love messing around with the hilarity of what can be done in the loops and how cavalier it makes MC in his choices at times.

But I also wanted to explore some of the drawbacks of resetting the time every day. That scene you're referring to was in my head very early on when I took on the project. I knew it would be quite mean. But I also think it was important for the story and MC's journey in this series.

Hopefully, you'll forgive me for being mean. I promise I did it with our hero's and the story's best interests at heart. :D

@Embercat

I have so many questions about LT, but I don't want to take up too much of your time. We all know how eager people are for updates. Still, I think it's great of you to take the time to respond to our feedback.

So, if I may ask a few questions. (You're always welcome to say I don't want to answer them.)

First: Will we get an answer to the scene I referred to?

Second: Some of the farewell stories in LT2 felt different from the plot itself. More emotional and less chaotic. Were the main plot and the farewell stories conceived by the same person?

Third: Has it been revealed which arc will be continued next? :)

Fourth: Will there be an update that includes partial voice-over, or will that only come once everything else is finished and in one big release update?

And there's more, but I know I have to wait for what's coming. Haha

Bonus code please.

Thanks for that comment. Yeah, I try to make it a point to respond to feedback and to interact with the community, whether it is on Inceton's official Discord or here.

Forgive me for going on a tangent instead of answering your question, but when I first started writing for Inceton, I was glued to the reviews and comments on here. This was for Lust Bound at first, but later for Lust Theory. While I do not wish to cast shade on anyone, I saw a lot of comments and conversations on both pages that I struggled with. I found a lot of negativity and harsh comments shared on both pages. There was good stuff too, praise for the games that I truly valued and which inspired me.

But it was hard dealing with users who would post random comments or complaints, dissing either the game (or at least the seasons preceding my writing) or Inceton as a company.

In many instances, these criticisms I knew weren't aimed at me directly. A user might complain about S2 before I had the privilege of taking over the writer, or their complaints might have been directed at Inceton in general. But in any case, I took these messages to heart, and I don't think posters here appreciated how much of what they were saying was being seen, read, absorbed. To their defense, they couldn't have known, as I was intentionally not posting here for the longest time, just observing.

I have mentioned once before in this forum that I have difficulties with my mental health, a lot of self-doubt, and imposter syndrome that so many creatives suffer with. It's a funny thing, imposter syndrome sucks, but it also drives us to excel and work constantly to better the work we're putting out into the world.

For a time, the more negative comments I read here were a good driving force to keep me motivated. I wanted to show my best self in the stories I'm telling in Lust Theory and Lust Bound. More than that, I wanted and still want to make series and stories people love and adore.

Eventually, I came to the conclusion that being a passive observer on this forum was not working for me. I needed to feel able to defend myself when critique came that I struggled with or felt was unjust. I also wanted players to realize and know that they aren't just screaming into an empty void here. That their words, have weight. I wanted them to see that their criticisms were heard and that I try to keep them in mind to improve, and that their insults I carry with me just as much.

I'm glad I made that commitment to myself. I have found in both the Lust Bound and Lust Theory pages of F95, conversation and comments have been a lot more pleasant since I stepped up and introduced myself as the writer. I like to believe, or at least hope, it might also be a sign that I am doing good work in the game itself and players are resonating with the stories I'm telling, but I also think taking the time to comment, to talk through issues, explain decisions, and stances on things has helped make the discourse here much better. I hope so at least.

I truly value all the comments and questions posted here, and will always endeavor to answer what I feel I can answer when I can.

I know F95 and Inceton do not have the best of relationships. I do not intend to weigh in on that whole thing. But I want players to feel heard, I want them to recognize that heart and soul go into these games, a lot more than some might think. And engaging with players in this space feels like a good way to prove that. And above all else, I want players to enjoy the games Inceton is putting out there to get excited for our releases and want to support us.

Sorry, I 100% haven't answered your question at all there. I just let myself go off on a tangent.

QUESTIONS -

FIRST - Maybe? I'm not going to spoil anything.

SECOND - I believe the farewell stories were written by the same writer who managed season 2. This was before my time, so I can't speak with authority, but I believe it was the same writer. And yes, there was a lot of emotion in those goodbye scenes, something I really wanted to honor and carry forward into LT3.

THIRD - It has not been officially revealed whose arc is up next, so I will keep that under my hat until the announcement.

... I really didn't have many answers to offer to your questions, did I? I'm sorry. :'D

Something that's crucial to remember is that fans are all individuals, and it's never going to be possible to please absolutely everyone.

A lot of internet criticisms are effectively "This isn't exactly the story I (think I) want! It sucks!" or "How dare you write for any set of kinks other than my precise ones?!" - not to say you shouldn't pay attention to some criticism (particularly when it happens to agree with my specific kinks! :p ) but one of the first questions to ask is whether the criticism is about the story not being the best possible version of the one you're trying to tell, or about it not being the story the writer wants you to tell instead.

First of all, I want to thank you for your thoughtful and detailed perspective on the comments in this forum. The internet can truly be a double-edged sword, especially when it comes to interactivity. Some people seem to forget there are consequences to what they post. Lately, I’ve been leaning more toward the belief that social media does more harm than good. I'm grateful to live in a country where hate speech is taken seriously and can be punished.

I can also understand Inceton's position on this platform. However, as you mentioned, it’s probably best not to dive too deeply into that topic.

On a more positive note, I agree that the feedback here has become more constructive thanks to the way comments are being managed. I remember a recent post that started with a lot of frustration toward LT, but after your response, the tone shifted, and the author became much more respectful.

I had a feeling my questions might be a bit too specific, but I'm glad I asked anyway. It was worth the try!

Finally, someone gets it! All games should be made for me exclusively. Screw all you suckers. ;)

(That's a joke, don't hate me.)

Yeah, sorry. We can be a bit critical at times and even more so when we don't think the people we're complaining about are watching. I'm not going to pretend I'm not guilty of that myself. I didn't hold anything back in my Shackbang review.

For what it is worth, I have been really impressed with both you and ReiCaixa's writing for your respective games and your willingness to engage on this forum. I don't know that I could do the same if I were in your shoes. I like Lust Theory 3 and Resort of Temptation enough that I intend to purchase them on Steam when they release. There's only a handful of adult games I liked enough to do that for. Most I get more enjoyment out of modding to fix them than I do actually playing them. Also, if one of you two end up writing the Shackbang remake when that comes up I'll probably buy that one too. Just maybe don't read my review of it, heh.

I haven't tried Lust Bound yet because it isn't tagged as having anal and I don't play very many games without anal (my signature isn't a lie) but I have been considering it given how much I like LT-S3.

Very good job to save this game from its disastrous season 2 storyline, now characters have more depth, not just a prop anymore, hats off to you~
