Let me start by stating why I give this 4 stars: The game is fun, the sex is pretty well done and there's some variety of scenes for each character, though this isn't immediately obvious unless you repeat the interactions. I also like that unlike many games, this one has an underlying plot.

What prevents it from reaching the 5 star:

    - Messy names. Since this has become the "canon" version of the story, it should be more polished, yet it's noticeable there's been some back and forth of name changes over time, as stated by dev in one of his comments in itch.io:

    > "Masuo's name was Harry/Haruto(I don't remember if Hiroshi was his name or his friend's) and that was his original design. Later his hair color was made dark blue and name changed to Dan/Daisuke. Later during the development of LSH his design was changed to make him muscular and black hair. His name was also changed to Mac/Masuo during that period and not it has stuck."

    - Gameplay is worse than the original (now non-canon DLC, according to dev). A time limit forces you to clear the mission through the computer (before 4 am) even if you have banished the ghost. That means you can't leisurely explore the map or the quests. This is more noticeable when doing sex scenes because they're pretty slow unless you hold M to speed up the passage of time.

    - Banishing ghosts became a boring fetching loop: Find the ghost room based on temperature, then take your time to gather all the ghost belongings (panties, bra, etc) and drop them in the ghost room. Now you can use the tools to figure out the ghost type and fetch the ingredients to make a dagger you don't even need to pick up. Just grab the pink belongings (if hard mode, otherwise any three belongings are enough) and drop them in the cauldron. Ghost banished.

    - Some tools are more annoying to use: Laser and Orbs require you to stand in the ghost room waiting for something to happen as your fear builds up since you can't check them through a videocamera from the truck. Using the camera to take pictures is kind of slow and annoying, specially for a quest that requires you to be quick to snap a picture.

    - Dagger is pointless: Using the dagger to defend from the ghost in berserk mode is kind of creative, but as I said, you can just banish the ghost without picking it up. This means changing the mechanics compared to the original game was pointless.

    - The Goddess room is to reset quests, not to unlock new ones, in case anyone else has the same misunderstanding I did when I read it allows you to "alter the world"

    - Another tip: One girl will request 2000 gold to have sex. If you say it's too expensive you can lower it to 1000 and then to 500.

This game is sadly influenced by the fact that it is based on what was before the original game which was just called Lustful Spirit Hunt.
I loved Lustful Spirit Hunt! The exploration felt fun and varied with the characters moving around making it feel dynamic without being overbearing. The story was slowly expanding whiles keeping the beginning simple and the gameplay loop felt challenging in the beginning but easier the more you play.

Ringman Edition took all of these elements and made them less fun. There are so many characters now from the moment you begin the game, it feels overbearing and hard to get into.

The exploration feels dumbed down in parts, mainly being go from point A to point B and back without anything interesting happening inbetween and the exploration that isn't dumbed down forces you to get really into the aforementioned insane amount of characters.

And the gameplay has turned from figuring it out and eventually getting good to tedium and overcomplexity. In the original game, you figure out the ghost and what they are weak at, that's it. In this one, you figure out the ghost, make a potion with a cauldron and ingredients which is always 3 items and the cauldron, forcing you to go back and either get the last item or the cauldron and then you have to pick up random items around the area to put in the cauldron to finally beat it.
I attempted to use as few words as i could to describe the gameplay loop and it is still that long! And it isn't just once, you have to do this every, single, time.

All that being said, it is still a pretty fun ghost hunting idea. It just sucks that it was made worse.
    3 Stars

    TL;DR
This game is just worse than the original. If you like this, i recommend the normal Lustful Spirit Hunt, it plays better.

I enjoyed the original so much I went and spent the few dollars on the game and was genuinely looking forward to updates, only for it to be discontinued and replaced with this. The ghost girls and hunting them now feels like an afterthought or a chore to be burned through to get to the new main focus; running around the map and talking to NPCs to progress the mostly generic NTR fantasy hentai story.
Thankfully though the gameplay changes were nowhere near as annoying as I feared they would be, I went in mostly blind and skipped the tutorial and still had no real trouble. The only change I don't like is how long it takes to finish a sex scene, which was really annoying when it came to the new ghosts with unappealing designs, mainly Lamphead.
It's not bad, it's just not what I was looking forward to; more ghosts and content for them.

Simple mechanics with excellent gameplay. But lets be honest, the animations are what compels so many and rightfully so, LAGS has (or is?) an incredible artist. But for those who want to dig a little deeper there is quite the story (albeit incomplete) to it that connects to their other famous work "Hailey's Treasure Adventure".
Worth a 5 star, worth checking out.

The game is excellent because it has nice animations and also plot or storyline but I still have concerns with the time limit because even though you banish a ghost, the time will still be counting whereas, you will still need to interact with other characters after ghost banishing. I also have problems with recruiting other characters apart from Aoi which I will still complain about in the community platform but overall, the game really cooked.
