As for the love route, their is no love route to begin with. Just because you are not seeing yourself get NTRed, doesn't mean that you are not getting NTRed. So the "NTR is avoidable" thing is kind of not true.

When you continue Kayla's story in the next version, keep one thing in mind that you should make Kayla's character look as if she is in guilt. So that it showcases that she did not want to betray Clyde and whatever happened was just a heat of the moment kind of thing . So that her character arc remains intact.and this thing also helps you in create a scenario where Ajit calls her for another lesson, where she goes to him even if she doesn't want to
