Unity - Lyndaria: Lust Adventure [v0.5] [Lustration Team]

It's... good.

In my opinion it still lacks quite a bit.
- no hints for active quests, I feel stuck atm since no icon shows anywhere at all
- no skip dialogue button
- no instant text option
- menu is buggy and seems to overlap
- no random events
- no gallery or it doesn't work
- general interactions with the available characters is quite limited and I haven't noticed changes from having a good relationship stat with them

Looks like the dev was aiming to make a game with the entire sex thing optional, and it really shows. One good thing about porn games is that the way characters treat each other change based on the player's actions and the sexual stuff done (immersion, that is), but that doesn't seem to be the aim here.

I'm not saying the story should evolve based on sex... that could lead to a ton of forks and a ton of writing for separate paths if not done in a smart manner, but some teasing comments or extra surprise scenes here and there wouldn't hurt anyone.

Lets start with the positives, great art, dialogue and story is also okay for these types of games but doesnt break new ground.

The bad points are the the main gameplay loop just isnt really fun or enganging. But it loses most of my respect by the wierd anti piracy measures. I honestly dont think this game should be on this forum.

But good luck tondevs anyway, but i would skip this game for now.

Decent art, but not worth my money, because if I want art, I'd rather make it with an AI. Repetitive gameplay. The UI is really buggy. Can't say much about the story, it's just not for me. If I could give this game 0 stars, I would do so.

It's clear that the developers put a lot more effort into the anti-piracy work than into the actual game. I don't even know why this game is even on this forum, it's just a shitty advertisement.

In previous versions these developers made paywall, which really annoyed me, although I like the 2D graphics in the game and the characters. The plot also deserves praise because it doesn't look trivial in my opinion. I hope the developers will start releasing updates faster now...

If you are a fan of furry games, this game may interest you with good art, gameplay and the story itself evolves depending on your choices. Throughout the game you can see how the main character changes and this can lead to different consequences. I will follow the game, and hope that the developers will fix mistakes.

From the moment I stepped into this universe, I was captivated by the stunning visuals, immersive storytelling, and engaging gameplay. The main character, a powerful and dynamic woman, takes the lead in a mesmerizing world of anthropomorphic wonder
most of all, I liked that the story comes from a female character, in this genre of games, this is something that I don't often see. as well as a wide variety of characters and physiques in animal shape I hope the developers will continue in the same spirit <3

There is no reason to play this game unless you're paying for it, and if you're going to pay for it, you should just pay for it when it's done rather than paying monthly indefinitely. If you're going to be a patron, it should be because you actively desire to support the project and not because it grants access to the content.

So I've played the shit out of Forbidden Fruit and it's many reworks and versions. ( I've even made a custom version for myself from the former renPy variant. I fixed bugs, edited the dialogue, etc) so I can tell Lyndaria is improved in (almost)every level.

The writing is not perfect but 10 times better than in Forbidden fruit.
The graphics are top notch, all the characters are very hot, the art design is gorgeous.

I must give credit to the devs because in some many cases they listen to the feedback. For example most of us wanted switchable genitalia (a.k.a. human/animal cocks) and the team delivered. (and not patreon locked BS like it was in FF.... yaaaaay) The majority wanted a Maya centric story and once again they delivered.
All sex scenes can be skipped, and those scenes are not just random encounters where maya gets fucked by some random "biggus dickus". This is a big positive.
The paywall and episodic structure are also gone.

Overall, the game's just keeps getting better and better, and if you still hate this game with all your heart, then I guess you should go and play something else, not a big deal, maybe Lyndaria is just not your cup of tea.

I only have two a few complaints:

I don't really like this episodic structure, somehow these "game over" and "to be continued" lines just kill the immersion for me.

Another thing is related to the writing. Its very cool that you can decide which sex scene you want, but the narrative and dialogue should be in synch with your decision. For example, the inner thoughts, and dialogue of Raj and Maya should change depending on whether they fucked before, or not.
Also some more build up for the scenes could be good, some teasing, flirting between the characters outside of the sex scenes. For example, the bunny boy and Maya are vibing so when they end up fucking each other it will feel "right" or "earned" IMO.

The next thing that bothers me is the relationship system. Right now it's nonsensical, you literally just click on the next scene and that's it, Relationship LvL++. It should be calculated based on character attributes, dialogue choices or favored factions etc...
Finally, I don't like how the actual sex scenes were cut into multiple parts. In most scenes that makes zero sense.(the one with Raniz is okay though)

The Game could be excellent, and the devs could also make way more money out of it, but for some reason they have this daunting paywall. Without paying, u get pretty much no content. On top of that comes the bad writing. It's like u read the thoughts of a 5th grader trying out erotic stuff for the first time. Not even accounting for the bugs that make the game somewhat annyoing to play aswell.

The only good thing are the animations, but if I just want some animations without soul, I got to Rule34 or something. It's probably the most wasted potential of any game out there.

Some games have extra content that you get for supporting the developer. In this game, you can only get content if you support the developer. There is nothing in the public version, you will just waste your time.
The only thing you can praise the game for is the beautiful graphics and animations.

I'll be direct, the monetization in this game is so abusive that you can't see any sex scenes. That being said, all you are going to do is waste your valuable time. I have read the explanation of the dev trying to justify this kind monetization, but ey! excuse me! you're using just sterile arguments, since many of us know how other devs with more or less success and talent do to compensate their patrons.

The art is the strong point, it would be a 9 or a 10. The game has certain bugs at the beginning that make the conversation with any NPC to rollback. Monetization is a joke. What's the use of trying your game if we can't see a single sex scene?

In summary: You are going to waste your valuable time, you are not going to see sex scenes because you have to pay with real money for it (pay walled). If the game comes out on Steam or other platforms I would recommend that you do not support this kind of devs, since there are others with greater talent and who do not take the rest of the users for idiots or walking wallets.

The game follows a story of a human woman who comes to a place called Lyndaria on boat. She is looking for her father. The story flows through her adventures on the island with the native locals who range from humans to other anthrotized beasts.

The story is fine. A little bit rushed in some cases. But overall it is a cohesive story with a naive female protagonist getting into sexual situations. Just with more non-human sausage.

Art is gorgeous. Animations are great. Really impressed it also runs so well in the Unity engine. Sometimes Unity devs can't manage to get the resources for it down pat and its unoptimized so my hardware starts taking off like a jet engine. But this game runs great and very low intensity.

Now for the elephant in the room. ALL explicit sexual scenes are locked behind a paywall. This is fine. In fact welcomes. But this still applies to even older scenes in the game. Its not like other devs were they may have a period of time where the patreon people get first dibs and later or in the next update they release the previous paid stuff for free. No its all locked out. This is the biggest hit to the game. Its a thing that actually turns me off from subbing to a project because how am I going to know the quality of the actual sex scenes if they only give a teaser and the REAL reason someone is playing the game will perpetually be locked behind a subscription wall. Makes no sense. At that point you should just finish the game and release it on like Steam. It just smells of trying to pump sub numbers.

I would gladly up this to 4 if the dev starts following that release schedule. I never condone people just leaking the paid stuff. And unlike other people that claim "leaking is the best" that just need everything for free, I actually sub to projects I enjoy. But this makes me not want to. There's a balancing act for monetization you have to strike when in a sub model. And this isn't it.

Arts good, story's halfway decent. However most, if not all, of the content is locked behind a paywall. Without being able to see any of said content it's hard to gauge whether this game is worth it or not. I wouldn't recommend investing in the game as it is now

Great Art and Sexy characters, however the good stuff is locked behind a paywall. While I understand the developer may want to leave some things behind to promote people to invest in you but its best they at least give people something to enjoy to see if its worth giving the developer money. It is almost as bad as Luna in the Tavern.

This game is good. The CG is drawn well, character design is great, dialogue is about as ok as you can get for porn. I'm glad they removed the male character because all his content sucked lol.

There's only 2 scenes right now and both are locked behind paywalls so if you want content wait 6-9 months and come back.

Played this game and I want to support it as much as I can, because all the storytelling, art, animation looks great in my opinion. Right now in this early version there is no many scenes of content, but in future Lyndaria has all the potential to became great game! Thank you!

Even the most basic scenes are locked behind a Paywall which is maddening. So based on his previous work this pattern will continue don't expect it to become better. As for the gameplay the scene with the chief took so much time it became tiring. Only positive I can say is that the art looks nice. But as for now I don't even recommend playing
