Mac mini M4 cant run games

Hey all.

just upgrader to a mac mini M4 from a 2022 intel macbook.
Now I cant run any of my games, neither Renpy or others.

Most of them launch, run in the backgound and then just disappears.

Anybody has a solve for this?

sell it and buy a real computer
you were on a x86 platform with the intel mac, the mini m4 is arm based
they can't run the same software without some kind of emulation/virtualization and it doesn't look like fun trying to make that work

nvm there's a compatibility layer called

that lets them work apparently (was clueless as i dont use apple products xD )

Not true,

the problem was Apples general setting to not allow uncertified programs to run.
Once I disabled this all games are back to working.
