MAC - Renpy files not responding since update to Ventura?

hi there,

having real issues launching any renpy games from here or from steam. The application doesn't even start and doesn't respond. Tried it with multiple games and happens to every one. Other applications on my mac work fine but Renpy games do not. Is anyone else having this issue or can anyone help?

still the same with the latest ventura version 13.2 ... always ends before it even started
