I played this 2 times. Well, I attempted to play it, that is.
It's one of the games where you can save after you hit ESC key. But, at the beginning of the game, there are looooooong scenes where you need just to go through long dialogues that keep rolling, and you can't save. Then directly after all those, first battle scene begins, you can't save before it happens. And there is no defeat scene, so losing means game over.
I'm unable to grasp how to fight in this game. Can someone explain to me like to a little child? I hit ESC, there is the Move, Skill, End turn... I don't get how it works at all. I'm used to use arrow keys + enter. It does not work the way I expect. I always lose the battle and then I have to spend half an hour "playing" it all over again... Can someone explain, or I must delete this game?

Fighting is relatively simple, in same way you move you choose a skill and you will have a radius (3-4-5 squares, etc.), once you specify the specific square the action will begin, as this is a turn based game enemies won't move if you didn't do your action first, you not need to kill everything to progress (at some point you will unlock also teleport to skip certain sections), what could happen is that you just pressed repeatedly your own square without advancing..

I don't get it. Sorry, but probably I'm too stupid to play this game. What do I do first, Move and "choose" the square - is that done by enter or not? Then I select the skill? Then end turn? The flying cat even tries to advise me. But, I "select" a square where the enemy is, it says I hit nobody. I select the Skill she wants me to use, it plays the no-no sound. I select the replenish energy, then what? I select myself? I still lose. I select the helpful boy from my class with an exclamation mark over his head, it says something about him being too something to be from school, I don't remember now.... No matter what, the fight takes forever, I listen to some metal music for ages, and I never manage to do attack, if yes I'm not sure how. Then game over.
i think the best option is too stream a game to someone and he would eventually help u or point that what u doing wrong, spells have a range/chance to hit that target

First selection, this is your "walk up to" if you select her (or return) and then "move" you can get up to the last selectable box with arrow keys (mouse click if modded works but not that well), then simply confirm the action, you can read your total move left during the turn in the upper right corner (green).
Second selection, if you click her and select skill (then a specific one) you will get a quite similar one from walking, in my case i can't hit the grey enemy so i have to move first, you can read your total attack left during the turn in the upper right corner (red).
Exemple of selected enemy for a skill output.
Third selection, self skills, extremely similar as before but the selectable box is only yourself.
If you have no longer option to move or attack you can end your turn.

Thanks guys... It is quite complicated. I'll try youtube, perhaps there is a video of someone playing the game... But I would need to see not only what is shown on the screen, but also exactly what keys to press when.
This is why I love playing Ashley The Pirate so much, it's the only game that has the fighting system done simple and even I can fight and win every fight and beat all the enemies

I'm trying to be considerate.. How is complicated selecting the action (enter, z, mouse click, etc.), move the arrow keys (or mouse if modded) and confirm again where you want? Thx, i'll check it out, honestly i wanted more present content like this one, altough having to mess with a princess (or queen) is always nice xd
Shit I dont even fucking care the CGs in the preview look 100% identical to his previous games. Ima gobble up his extremely slow corruption narrative once again.

It's funny because the dev said that the resolutions of the CG are broken xD
BTW there are couple of annoying that bugs I've found so be careful,
1: the stone for equipping daggers don't work (in my case i wanted to eqip it to the magic swordman).
2: if you equip the weapon after adding the job change stone (for exemple grimorie) and then change the item on wich the stone was associated you will automatically unequip the weapon, however this one will rest in a lock state as already equipped and can't be again equipped (you can however choose another one).
3: during the random encounter if you drop something in the lake but change your mind and return the game will freeze.
4: the game will softlock you if you apply immortality (with cheats) after somebody is dead (the game treat the down one as alive and will give you options however can't proceed with the action).
5: not a bug but an annoying feature, there's no save option in the dungeon, probably the dev forgot to add one in the rest area (combining with the previous it will be pain..).
Also, dev said that the game should be released in around 2 years.

My game keeps "FAILING TO LOAD" with this Error message: img/pictures/digitNaN.png I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but I'm guessing its the save file. This is basically right after the school trip to the beach event. Can anyone help?

Reading is important.. Download the patch available, extract and overwirte and you will solve your issue

that is because choice appears two invasions early. the battle i am facing is downtown
and that is building you are going to destroy(it's the only one destroyable actually)

I don't get the fighting. I don't get how do I confirm. Z does nothing. Enter does nothing. I really don't know.
