VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Maid to Please [v0.18.1] [GamesMtP]

Quality would suggest more of a 3* rating, but since its completed it falls to 2* for not completing paths + story and ending at a random spot.

Not a lot of player choice, really its just flavor/if you want to see content or not. Story is ridiculous but it works better as a slice of life game. None of the LI paths are completed and it seems like everything could have been wrapped up with just 1 or maybe 2 more chapters.

I would not suggest playing overall if this is the completed product, to me it seemed like a time waste

The premise is great - tame the main more dominant lady, corrupt young girls together with her, have fun with side girls.

It has a fairly slow start, where there is no sexual action whatever for a while, only teasing. That does evolve nicely into next step, where you reach breaking point with several characters and start having sex.

However after it game goes off the rails. Some characters get forgotten outright, some get outright rapid progression, while others get slowed to a crawl. All of it is peppered with dubious overall plot, which progresses in the same way. Characters and conflicts are introduced only to be waved away.

And then the game suddenly ends. You got what you got, you fucked some girls and didn't get some others, well done, get out.

Overall... This game has high points and worth playing it for them. There are several characters that hooked me enough to play it to completion. I would like to get a longer story with better pacing, but it is what it is.

Before the last update (Oct 25) I would have called this an easy 5 star game. Decent writing, nice animations, hot girls, good music, a mix of approaches to take, and hints of lots more to come, with Beth looking to get knocked up. Sadly the dev seems to have lost interest in the project and the ending was pretty rushed. Its not a bad VN to sink your teeth into, theres plenty of action here. Beth in particular has a lot of scenes, but if the other girls are more your type you may be disappointed. This really is an Act 1 game and its doubtful if we will ever get an Act 2.

However rating it lower than a 4 would feel dishonest, there is a lot of really good stuff here if you go into it knowing what to expect.

Story line, renders, animations were amazing for my taste. Enjoyed it a lot and hopefully will we will see an act II, I know I would. Enjoyable playtime. Highly recommended from my part. Looking forward to the new project

Story line is good, graphics are okay and overall I'm interested in what comes next. The MC takes the normal harem leader role but the development takes its time which is a plus for this game. Each of the characters has their own story and the decisions do not impact the story line so severely that you will miss out on content. The multi mod for the game is good and there were no issues installing or running it.

It started pretty well, but the sub-plots are kind of all over the place. The visuals are dceent, and the whole arc with Beth was fun. I think the dev got bored with it, as the "ending" was very rushed.

I struggled on rating this 2 or 3 stars, but landed on 3 because I felt the game overall wasn't terrible, and I'll start with the positives. The writing wasn't spectacular but it was fine, the grammar wasn't terrible, and the characters were likeable. Usually games that have multiple LI's usually have 1 or 2 that are annoying or bad, I liked all of them. There wasn't an abundance of sex scene's, but there was enough content that I was satisfied with.

Onto the negatives. There is a point system for love and corruption, which can force decisions/lock decisions based on the points, which I've never personally liked. I mentioned above that I liked all the LI's, but unfortunately most of them feel neglected and forgotten. While the story is mostly fine, at times the dev kind of gets away from it, and some updates just seem random and pointless.

The grave sin, and why I nearly gave it two stars, and why I may never try another game again is for the following reasoning. It is clear this dev either got burned out or bored, and rushed an "ending" to be done with the game, and in his notes basically said "Eh, I'll make and act two if I can be bothered with it". Just putting some bullshit together to make a "final" chapter doesn't make it better than an abandoned project. How can I trust moving forward this dev won't just throw his hands up once he's bored again?

Overall, the game is just fine, but not really worth playing if you just come across it for the first time, unless you want to waste your time with this current "resolution" to the story.

The dev gave us all a big middle finger by not actually giving this AVN a proper ending. For that alone this is getting a terrible review. I was going to give maybe 2 or 3 stars but basically abandoning this forces me to move it to 1 star.

Too many of the girls here are lolli.

If it wasn't for Catalina and Elizabeth then this would be a dumpster fire of an AVN. And even then I felt like there was not enough content with them and too much with Miko

The story with your hot stepmom and develloping household is great and delivers some outstanding scenes. Would have Beth and maybe 1 or 2 maids as well as the snobby ice cream girl been the only LIs, this would have been a better game.

The crime story is boring asf. Nothing interesting ever happens and tension is never build. Also the relationship with the corrupt cop is way too vanilla and lame compared to what it could have been.

Still the main story within your household is good enough to outshine the rest. Just skip all of that and your good.

What a great surprise this game turned out to be, this game excels at pretty much everything, the story is perfect for a VN, not overly complicated but still has plenty of depth that compliments the adult aspect of the VN perfectly.

The art is really really good and while the animations are not too great at the start they get much better as the game goes on, making the art one the games many highlights.

The characters are very well done, starting with a great MC(handsome, skilled, smart, has goals, fit), then onto the women who are all well written, each one is unique in both looks and personality with no major cliché's, i normally have a hard time liking the LI's in games but here there is only a single one i couldn't get on with, even having the father be a likeable good character who doesn't get in the way is a first for me, well done writing him.

The choices are the least you should reasonably expect from a VN, a yes choice, a no choice and a yes but not a love yes so you can still see content for woman you may not like and not be stuck on a love route, the only thing i would say is if a characters relationship/story changes significantly then you should have an option to override past choices of them as they are now not what you wanted when you chose at the start, as for story choices, there aren't any major ones but its clear from the start it's not that type of story.

Sex scenes are great, not too long or short with plenty of verity, at the moment there is a ton of content both adult and normal scenes to keep you entertained for hours.

It's not a bad experience, but there are two major plotlines here and they're in serious conflict with one another.

One is about the MC seducing the women of his hometown, potentially starting with his dad's gold-digger girlfriend. That's decent, hot, and even occasionally funny.

The other is a slow-burn crime story about the MC's attempts to solve his mother's murder, which is introduced like it's an afterthought, then keeps coming up again at unpredictable intervals. It's also got a bunch of unnecessary escapist bullshit mixed into it, like how our 22-year-old rookie MC is being given an astonishing amount of leeway by shadowy government operatives.

The two stories barely feel connected at all and can go for hours without intersecting. The MC is explicitly driven by anger and revenge, but is willing to put that on hold for days at a time so he can go on picnics and seduce his pretty neighbor. At best, he comes off like he's bipolar; at worst, he's a psycho who schedules extrajudicial murders like they're a daily errand.

Neither of these plotlines are poorly written; both have flaws, but they're coherent and decently paced. However, they have no business being in the same story. The creator would've done better to make one lighthearted bondage caper and one hardboiled noir drama, rather than trying to fit them both into the same title. Everything else about the game is fine to great, but it's a weird experience overall.

[SPOILER ALERT!]

Maid to Please is not what you think it is and it’s more than meets the eye. When you start the game for the first time, you’ll think that this is just your typical stepfamily AVN or something, especially with the graphics and UI that look so simple. I had to drop the game for a few weeks because of that, but at some point I decided to go through it. Frankly, I was very surprised that this game is something different than most AVNs out there. The title alone doesn’t do this game enough justice. But to be fair, the dev really did a great job to burry the true nature of this game (a.k.a show, don't tell).

I’m a big fan of media such as Jack Reacher, The Accountant, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, The Equalizer, etc and this game really scratch the itch that I had for a very long time, especially in the AVN industry since we don’t have enough games like this. I could go on about it, but yeah it would spoil the “special recipe” of this game so you have to see it for yourself.

Now let’s go back to the main topic. First, I want to talk about the graphics. So far, it looks alright and sometimes good despite how “outdated” it looks compared to many AVNs that were released for the past four years. But trust me, don’t let it dissuade you from trying this game. Also, the sex animations are quite good, not even choppy.

Second, the characters. Now I want to start from the MC, at first he looks clueless but once you keep continuing the game, you just realized that this guy’s cluelessness is just a façade. I’m not going to talk more about it because it’ll ruin the surprise, but one thing that I really like from the MC is that he’s got that charisma (I’m not going to use that gen z slang) and he’s not a total wimp either. Dude knows how to lie, charm, fight, threaten, etc. Is he a Gary Stu type character? Well not really, he also makes mistakes just like ordinary people. But so far, his mistakes are quite small, nothing huge since he truly knows how to mitigate things. He’s like the embodiment of Jack Reacher and Sterling Archer.

As for the LIs, they’re quite unique. You got a meanie from the Heartland, a rich European bitch, a submissive Asian college girl, a goth-turned-robber girl, a corrupt detective, etc. All of them have their own story and you don’t have to chase them all. I mean yeah you could woo them all but I don’t know what will happen in the end, so I suggest you just to pick a girl or two which you like more than others. There are also two ways to get close to them, either using affections or make them submissive to you… or a mix between both. Also, since you’re an almost-perfect guy, it doesn’t mean that you could have sex with them right away. You need to work on it, so the sex stuff happens quite late (yes, it is somewhat a slowburn game).

One more thing, I like the way the dev addresses MC’s dad. Usually, in most AVNs they’d kill the dad or make him an asshole, but not in Maid to Please. Both MC and his dad have a healthy relationship and they often joke together, this really put a smile on my face. Also, Maid to Please is not a heavy/serious game, it has jokes and fun stuff here and there so no need to worry for any trigger warning.

EDIT: As per October 26th 2025, it pains me to say that the dev decided to complete Maid to Please out of nowhere without actually finishing the story, and now he's moving to make another VN or some sort. I had to lowered it to three stars because of it.

I skipped the story because the setting seems uninteresting to me, additionally the characters seems to be a bit dull, not worth spending much time with em.

The scenes with the girls are enjoyable and well done. You can skip the ones you don't like.
Pacing seems good and you get decent content (sex and story).

If just the models were looking a bit more natural....
The "younger" or "smaller" ones have relative big heads, and the faces look like they were 20 and 50 years old at the same time?! I don't know what that is...

All in all: nothing special, nothing bad either.

Could possibly be a 4* with a bit refinement and polishing here and there.

lots of content, of good quality, both animations* and scenes ; and good storyline** with plot twists. Ah, and cute girls with clear and distinct personalities ranging form smoking hot, model-worthy to loli, what else can we ask?!

the footnotes:
* quality of animations grow with the updates. Last animation, the belly dances, is amazing.
** yes, the storyline is mostly filled with the mc working on his relationships with his girls - which would be very fine on its own given the girls and their own unique characters... but there is an actual plot here, with the pleasant twists, and it does not progress much. Although mc is on holidays so that's understandable, especially with those distractions...
The lack of Jessica, before her plain and simple removal, is sad... but at least it will be company for dear old dad!

PS: I almost skipped the game because the title made it looked like the whole thing was resting on maid fetish, while almost none were showed in the preview pics. But yes, there is at least one maid, the cutest.
The title pic did nothing to entice me to play the title either.

This is one of the best games I have played in a long time and I really don't understand (or care) about some of the more negative ratings because most of them seem a little nitpicky IMHO.

To me, yes, the storyline isn't perfect, but not many are. If I wanted to play a game for more perfect storylines, then I wouldn't play H games.

The LIs are beautiful, well diverse and all have their own backstories, motivations and interests. Their interest in the MC might be a tad overboard but at least it's not forced where every girl in the game seems to throw themselves boringly at the MC and I credit the Dev for slowly and sometimes painstakingly establishing this interest. I especially love the different Submissive/Affection paths. Well done!

The LI models are really well done (especially Elisabeth) and are a healthy mix of different body types. This is much better than EVERY female in the game being a barbie doll that's a foot taller than the male MC and has beach ball sized tits. I've actually avoided playing games because of this. It is not natural or realistic for every female to be perfectly sculpted, chesty Amazons that all look the same with only different skin tones and hairstyles separating them. I LOVE the fact that some of the girls are short and petite. On average, women are 5 to 6 inches shorter than men and a lot of Devs seem to forget that. I cannot praise the Dev enough for getting it right. I wish more Devs did!

I am hooked and very interested in where the game is going and eagerly wait for more content. I applaud the Dev for the amount of content so far!

This wasn't easy for me to rate. I share many of the negative points mentioned in other reviews, especially the huge Gary Stu protagonist who can do anything and always knows ehat's best and, especially annoying, also knows what's best for everyone else.
I get it, it's a power fantasy, almost every video game is, there's nothing wrong with it, and I actually like playing a confident and capable MC, but come on, make him a bit more interesting and relatable and less of a know-it-all. To be fair though, I played many games on this site with worse MCs.

Still, I like the game overall, mainly for two things.

1. All LIs have two different paths, affection and dominance. I love it when games let you influence what kind of sexual content you can see instead of just giving you the choice to see sex or nothing at all. It's also pretty forgiving, so you can actually balance these paths a bit and aren't forced to always take the same option if you don't want to.
You might have to permanently pick a path at some point but that would just be reasonable.

2. I actually really liked the development of the relationships. Like previously mentioned, the MC is a huge babe magnet, but the game successfully avoids the trap of other harem games where most LIs are offensively boring and one dimensional.
The relationships actually feel kind of believable and natural for a porn game, they have a good buildup but don't blueball and the sex scenes feel pretty rewarding for that reason. Something that cannot be said for many games.

In the end I had fun with the game. I didn't really care about the story aside from what is important for the erotic content, it wasn't that interesting to be honest, but I did enjoy most of the scenes with the LIs so that's something.

Good question. While i really liked and got invested by the early plot twist of the story, unfortunately everything feels dumb.

The characted always behave in a plot convenient way rather then in an expectable way.
Overall playing through feels boring and the sex scenes are short, not very stimulating, sometimes bizzare and, you guessed, they feel dumb. Totally unrewarding.

That's unfortunate. As i said i wanted to like this game and i think it's a genuine good will project.

I think this game is alright. Elizabeth almost raises it to a 4, but honestly, you can tell the author has a type and it's plastered throughout the game. Lots of small, tiny, almost underdeveloped women, so Elizabeth and Ashley by extension almost pop out in difference.

I think the author definitely made too much of a Gary Stu, like I almost hate the MC and his internal monologues. I get it, it's a power fantasy, but like jesus christ dude, he just preaches bullshit all the time, and every girl loves him. If this game did not have the relationship between him and Elizabeth I might rate it a 2.

It stays a three because the author puts in the work, he updates pretty consistently, and I think he has a clear vision for the game, I just wish the girls were hotter besides Elizabeth, and the MC wasn't such a douche. But seriously, he sucks, and no woman should go near him.
