This is exactly what I'm talking about, no matter how hard I try I can't remember when I wanted to make it bisexual. But let's assume it happened at some point, even then it doesn't give anyone the right to just kiss someone... Of course it's a game, but it's still disrespectful to Beth. Poor girl didn't even know what was happening, she was so surprised. I didn't think it was funny... But of course that's just me, and I don't have a problem with bi or lesbian content at all, if it's directed properly in a game... And unfortunately continuing such a discussion would just be an eternal cycle that I don't want to be a part of. I've said my opinion... That's it, no hard feelings towards anyone...

I can't exactly follow what you mean

In version 17.2 i can't load saves from the last release before (v16.5) either, so they are not really that old.
While i used the MultiMod in v16.5 i tried it in v17.2 with and without the MultiMod (for that version), still can't load them.

For funsies i also made a new save in vanilla v16.5 and tried loading in vanilla v17.2, does not work either.

Always the exact same error that the uploaded traceback also contained.

Is there another mod that is not linked in the first post?

It's hard to know what's gone wrong for you just hearing about it. If there was a general problem with the game, the forum here would be full of posts about it. So it's a few people who run into problems. In the past, these things have pretty much always been down to having an old mod (sanchos), not updated mod, an unmodded save and trying to load it in a modded game or whatever.

If you have a vanilla save, post it here. If it's not vanilla, I'll call you names.

I'm getting the same issue. Saved games in v15.5 (using GB mod 15.5). Game v 17.2 won't load them, either a clean version or GB 17.2 added.
I've tried adding sanch save file to the game directory as well.

While I like the characters(the ones I am supposed to like) and the writing, some of the renders just straight up make teenagers and girls in their 20's, look like like great grandmothers. Two examples below...

OK, just finished the current build, on my first playthrough. Overall, a really good game with very lovable LIs and pretty decent writing. No Engrish, no bad grammar or syntax errors, no continual bad spelling. I think I might have seen one misspelled word but it wasn't misspelled elsewhere, so just looked like a missed typo. The story is decent and at least the "dad" has not died yet, novel way to get him out of the picture, so you can steal his woman with said woman not being your mother.

Not every game needs incest or NTR, those two seem to be the two biggest kinks in these types of games. I guess harem games like this is a distant third but even then, so many of them are handled far worse than this one. I like the MC being able to dom the girls without being a complete asshole about it. He is far closer to how I have always been, mild dom or mild sub. I have always been a bit of a switch but nothing too out there. I know the wilder stuff really exists, seen it firsthand, happening in front of me. Even those that are far more dominant, they still respect boundaries, unlike so many of the games with BDSM we see here.

, and because of that the fact that the MC, a character who's supposed to be smart and capable enough to become a qualified agent not only can't see the possibility, but also just adamantly refuses to let her finish a single sentence for stupid reasons is starting to get really annoying. It's happened like three times now. It would be fine if it was something irrelevant, but it's like the central driving plot of the MCs character motivation. Please tell me it stops happening.

Another Friday. Another Progress update. How exciting!

Let's dive into it. It'll be quick. I've been writing script. That's it. It's going slower than I'd want it to but it's going. Word by word, the last update of MtP act 1 is taking shape. There will be a bit of this and that. A bit of kissing, a bit of lewder stuff, maybe a little bit of headpatting.

I know most of you fine folks out there like girl-girl stuff, at least when the MC is around to approve of it and participate. Some really do hate it though. So I spend time to code and write in skips where it just does not happen. The next update will be shorter for skippers. I'm just saying.

It's actually something I think about quite often. The VN. People hate sandboxes. People don't like kinetic novels. Storylines about other things than pursuing women don't seem that popular. What's left in a VN to make it a game? Largely it comes to which girl to pursue and which type of kink to pick for the sex scenes. Am I wrong? Tell me.

There's been a lot of talk about Visa and Mastercard in the last few weeks. They're trying to force their morals on the world, like some kind of shadow government. But at the same time, they deny they're doing it. Places like Itch, Steam, Patreon, they all say their payment processors require them to censor stuff that is not illegal.

Mastercard made a statement, "Mastercard has not evaluated any game or required restrictions of any activity on game creator sites and platforms, contrary to media reports and allegations." among other things. Clearly they're straight up lying to us. Fuck'em. Fight the Power!



Anyway. The questions this week were weak. I guess all is said and done. That's okay.

Romantic visual novels allow me to have the life I always wanted

me My opinion is

a vn that is just sex one after another means nothing to me

a visual novel with a great story and scenes that give the relationship meaning

For me, the story and relationships should be working together to enhance the story instead of competing with each other

I'm not sure "storylines about other things than pursuing women" aren't (or can't be) popular, as long as they fit within the tone and style of the game. What happens in this story I think is that there are some mostly lighthearted romantic-erotic romps with various women, and then there's a somewhat grim and serious revenge story, and the two tend to clash tonally.

Both story strands are reasonably deftly handled, but they don't really come together as a coherent whole (or at least that was my impression the last time I played, a few updates ago). If the romantic parts had been less comedic or the crime story had been lighter in tone they might have gelled better, but on the other hand the individual parts might have been less satisfying.
