yeah thats pretty much standard for twine, i think, unless you do some svg shenanigans, at least i couldn't find a proper way to do it.
when i upload to itch.io there should be online version with pics, that you can run offline.

For some reason on mobile,the images aren't showing up

I got it to work on mobile using Joiplay, just exteact the zip from your file manager, go to joiplay, click the plus sign, then add games, then go to downloads and find ruins of maiden, click the html file and you should be good to go. If it doesn't work you might need to install the plugins that joiplay has (pretty sure f95zone also has the necessary installations for joiplay) have fun :3

Amazing game so far I'm hooked, I didn't find the game repetetive like someone pointed out the random events keep it fresh. I really like the appearence of the MC, it's nice a woman with this proportions most of the time they are really over the top that even if the game has a really nice story you don't take it seriously.

The transformation makes sense but I might be a minority her second form is really good too, but something more thick and bigger I would preffer it more optional rather than obligatory. But either way great game, I'm really looking forward to seeing more progress, keep up the good work!!

usually can tell by the name if its used, the image model i run really likes to put earrings on everything, so it just wasn't removed

When doing that quest for Lys and finding the masturbating guard, is it normal to have a blank screen with no way back?
You also get a blank screen when you skip a chore while having a high servant level.

first one yeah, event not done, i should have put the morals check way higher so its always closed
2nd one is interesting, that i will need to investigate, thanks for mentioning it.
but past day 60 i didnt test, stuff will change anyway, saves will also break when i add new characters and systems,
so would advice against farming high stats / hunting for scenes now.

I wonder what the cost-benefit analysis is of releasing a game as early as possible to get feedback asap vs waiting until it has more meat on its bones to wow people initially.

Are you wondering in general or referring to this game? There is over an hour of playable content here which is fine for a first release.

In general, but also here. The sooner you get feedback the better you can steer your project in the direction more people respond to, but I feel like if a game released with like 4+ hours of content you could generate a lot of hype upon release, as opposed to releasing with a smaller amount of content and potentially flying under the radar and having to dig yourself out of that hole over time. It's dependent on genre of course, not all games are going to have similar playtimes, but a sandbox with ai art is definitely on the upper end of things.
