I was stuck here too, I read the 3 books several times, I tried the following names respecting the capitalization and all in capitals where possible:
メギルディン
Megildin
Livia
Libya
Miko (Where does it come from?)
ミコ

But nothing.
Then I discovered that if you try to go through the door by passing straight on the right or left edge of the carpet you go through it! The puzzle only occurs if you push from the center of the door...
But I'm still curious about the solution.
