Absolute garbage that doesn't work as a VN, porn or game. The release year is no excuse for a half-baked scenario, 18+ that makes no sense given the premise, and gameplay that's just asking you to look at another screen while things unfold. There's no redeeming feature to speak of, so i will simply proceed to complaining:

Art style has a number of problems; Little and limited V.A; Story exists but no more than a bunch of facts that stick together, thanks to tropes associated with ninjas and samurais being easy to accept by now; Dumb and unexplained supernatural; Lore on the world amounts to little factions, country, big factions and larger empire, that's all they mention; Gameplay is tactical rpg, but they decided to have each and every enemy check their field of vision, each and every turn. Doesn't sound bad? Well the maps are large, there's a lot of enemies, and turns can go up to 99. The math equals hours of looking at the enemy taking their turn. Preposterous, appalling, frustrating. I should be paid to play this, not the other way round

No info on mission objectives and what you should be doing (don't kill the first hero in the 4th mission, use the speak command); Training uses random numbers, you can roll a 4 or close to a 40, meaning very different outcomes when thinking character performance; There are wrong answers when it comes to heroines, but your guess on what they like is once again random, so just keep trying until the big numbers pop-up; Adult content has "you" molesting the girls, when what they are supposed to do in battle is seduce the enemy. If you want to argue that sexual harassment increases seductiveness that's fine, but you don't need that mechanic in combat, assassinations work better; Save scumming becomes a virtue in this game, the next attack can be dodged or insta-kill you with a critical hit. Good luck completing one mission perfectly without reloading.

The differentiation between high and lower terrain combined with camera limitations, can make moving around a royal pain in the behind; There's barely any events with the cast when accounting for duration; Boring gameplay cycle; Repetitive H-scenes; Very limited VN in technical terms, you can find quality of life in the year 2001, this has none; Final mission is annoying if you haven't been training your main character that much; And lastly the VN is not true to its synopsis, because there's not a lot of seduction, kunoichis, or sneaking around. It's a crappy FF tactics for most of its duration.

Score: 4/10, trash tier, stay well away from this. I could make a better game than this. You could too. Your grandma who only knows about pokémon, would have no trouble either. Makoku is a crime against video games and their essence, you could probably sue "these people" for some sort of damage. I was self-aware in the early 2000's, and it was never this bad. Not recommended.
