a fun romp. don't really see a lot of puzzle games here, which makes sense when you sit down to actually think about the amount of work that takes into making one. the only one i can think of is divimera, and that one is the polar opposite in terms of vibes. while that game is hostile and makes you paranoid with it's familiar yet alien enviroment, here it feels like you enter what appears as a paranormal and dangerous location and slowly make it your home as you explore and find more places, cleaning the place out with your scanner and making friends with the local ghost population.

now it's not a flawless puzzle game, i'm no sherlock but i did get pretty fuckin far without looking everything up, and only got completely stumped when i reached what seems like around the end of the current update. might've bugged out actually, now that i think about it, but the point is that the puzzles for the most part are pretty clear and never feel like complete bullshit that you'd never figure out, it reaches that sweetspot where you still have to think but it doesn't delay that feeling of going "eureka!" for so long that when you finally finish a puzzle it feels like you want to punch a hole in your monitor.

now for the characters and writing, i like it. the portraits seem to be buggy as hell with the filter and the different outfits (stuff like outfits straight up not working or the filter having different shading for some reason??) but i like the artstyle and the writing, it just feels like a lot of characters get sidelined for a long time when introducing new characters until the dev remembered they existed and wrote them back in. While it's not as much of an issue as you might think, some characters do get hit with the statue beam a lot. Amy suffers most from this, she gets introduced, has 2 scenes and then she just sits in a corner forever, but monique is the one that hurts the most because while she does do a lot of things she only gets a good amount of scenes on day 3 (and i think my save bugged out because i can't trigger them ) so until then she's basically there to facilitate the plot progressing.

I have alot more to say but for the sake of not rambling like an idiot i'll just say that i hope the bugs get cleaned up because the characters and writing are genuinely really fun and i caught myself playing this for way longer than i planned to in one sitting just to keep solving puzzles, keep it up!

the art is somthing that has me coming back every update by far, everything about this game is great! there are bugs every so often but they get patched out quick now! i think this is a solo dev so they are doing a great job.

Great art style, but I felt lost several times. It's a game about finding objects for progression, and at times you end up missing something, so you end up getting stuck in the game, and this is the most annoying part: having to revisit every room to see if you find something you apparently forgot or didn't find.

The artwork is really great though some of it is kinda blurry though you don't really notice it til you toggle the lens a couple times.

The soundtrack is pretty great too.

The writing is pretty good, there's an intriguing story going on and the characters are unique and have their own quirks and back story.

This is a point and click game with lewd stuff to find, if you want click button get porn you might be a little disappointed since you have to do some investigating. But that's alright, all in all a nice game.

I hope they fix the ability to get soft-locked in the stairway with the roots soon though. If you don't have a screw driver or the map you're stuck reloading...or restarting if you didn't save before wandering off like I did.

I only ever saw cons to this game. Here's my experience.

Unreadable font., smudged art,1080p looks like 480p.

Skipping gets stuck all the time! Big one, this one. Have to manually click the skip button once or twice, because it's not always marked as active.

Exploring and picking up items aimlessly, randomly find a thing to progress story.
End up at some stairs that had no "back arrow", and no other way to move anywhere. Hardlocked, and no save other than at the beginning. Had to just quit.

I'm sure there's a game here, but other than starting over to try to experience it, and saving every minute to avoid being hardlocked. This is what i experienced.

Lewd point-and-click adventure game, done in the classic style.

The ingame walkthrough is not great, the clues on the gallery ended up guiding me more. Saving/Loading is annoying compared to renpy. I softlocked the game within the first 5 minutes, traveling somewhere with no exit BEFORE the game unlocked fast-travel.

Otherwise, the art is charming. The girls are well-characterized, the writing is above average. The potential scope of the game is ambitious. It's fun to play.

My main criticism is that it feels a little stingy. you can see their underpants during dialogue, woo hoo, I wanted more. I wanted some snapshot images when advancing quests, or more scenes. more image variety within the scenes.

Honestly don't know why this game doesn't have more hype. This is genuinely one of the best games I've played on the site. The gameplay, writing, and art are all top tier. Other people have mentioned the game having many bugs, but I've only encountered a few and even then they were minor inconveniences. My only complaint is that there a few features in the game that are completely unused or underutilized, but this is likely to be fixed in the future.

Reminds me of the best parts of Summertime Saga.
The characters are interesting in how they react and the interact with one another, with interesting hidden gems that delve deep into the personalities. I also appreciate the 'gift' system that rewards exploration, which this game has quite a bit of.
Girls are also cute, with a very unique and pleasing art style, even the monster girls have their charm.
The best part, however, is the humor and interactions with the environment that allow you to discover stat boosts, story items and hidden activities that all just add to the overall package.
Eagerly looking forward to what comes next!

Would've been 5 stars if it werent for the lack of hints, even in the missions, I struggled to find quite alot things, such as when to check cams after "brat" takes batteries. I searched an hour or so for more because i thought i sequence broke the game.

That aside, let's move onto what the pros and cons are.

    Pros
    - game has nice art
    - makes a nice plot, keeping me on the edge of my seat for the next update
    - simple "one handed friendly" clicking game
    - has some ambitious and good (if implemented right) mechanics such as the lens, the photo thingy to rid places of ghosts.

    Now, about the cons.
    - absolutely LITTLE direction as to what to do, missions need alot more clarifications (seriously, I've been stuck at alot of parts for hours, only with the help of the way better gallery hints did I 100% the game.)
    - very hard to find items (again, due to the lack of clarification in missions)
    - "ambitious" features made me have to look up tutorials (maybe im just dumb, but i couldnt find the code for ghost lady box till i searched here.)

Now i know this is a half baked game, i'll cut the dev some slack and let him cook. He's cooked up a 8.5/10 | 4.75/5 for me

Unique and wonderful art style. Very fun classic point and click gameplay, and only minor bugs encountered. Hint system is helpful and overall very fun to play. Would recommend this game to other players who enjoy point and click games and puzzle games.

In general, this game is a good point'n'click adventure with adult content that demands attention from the player. The game has it's issues (some bugs), but has a good setting with a fresh enough story, the characters are distinct and likeable. And the art is really good.

I enjoyed this game, however it has issues that really hinder the experience.

    [Pros]
    + Unique art style
    + Good cast of characters
    + Decent search/fetch questing

    [Cons]
    - Very buggy when least expected
    - Game crashes at certain points
    - Softlocking due to said bugs
    - Not as much "content"

The game has an art style that lets it stand out from other games in the same genre, and was part of the reason I tried out this game. The environments and rooms are drawn really well and help drive the whole abandoned paranormal atmosphere. Each character stands out and has their own unique traits and background, making them feel more than just the usual NPC. The gameplay is your usual fetch questing to unlock more areas/progress the story, with some side quests to get more scenes with other characters.

With all that said, it would be a great in-development game if it weren't for the bugs and crashes that really messed with my experience. There were a few times where the game would crash because the game was checking for certain events to have occurred, but since they never did it simply crashes. Other times the game would soft lock when I would skip dialogue too fast, and certain characters would disappear entirely, making it impossible to progress. Besides the technical issues, there aren't many scenes to begin with which is expected for a game in development, but something to keep in mind currently.

Ultimately the game is fine, but the current issues could turn away some people. I'm more forgiving when it comes to bugs and crashes, but others might not be, so I hope these issues get resolved in later updates.

I Love these graphics ! The game is interesting, its rare I bother read the text as a non-english player but I did 50% of the time because the game is funny and appealing.

Not 5 stars because, as much as I love the graphics, I'm disappointed that so little efforts has been made do draw pussies. It's barrely a line. I don't mind when it's show from the front, but by the back (like Willow or Amy) it's very frustrating.

Cute cast of girls and monster girls in a comedic story all tied in to a sandbox point and click game. The characters are fairly diverse with cute moments between them. The puzzles are your standard find the item and use it at the correct place type of classic point and click that remind me of old newgrounds games. I found the loop of searching for the answer to these puzzles satisfying and the scene payoff rewarding. However this search around for the item to progress certainly isn't for everyone.

I could easily see this game reach a 4.5-star rating, but at the moment it is basically a beta, with all the bugs, crashes, soft locks and UX pain points that entails.

As others have said, one of the biggest issues is how poorly handled the open nature of the game is handled: the quest log fails to keep track of where you're at, NPCs show up in two places at once, dialogue is not consistent with the information you have or haven't been given yet, and content may repeat or become inaccessible if you don't do things in the expected order. Even though the story is largely linear, frequently reconnecting all loose threads at obvious common choke points, an open-ended game like this needs a lot of QA, and this one clearly isn't getting it.

The UI is tedious in a number of ways, and not always clear. Early on, the quest log tells you to scan anomalies without telling you how to do so, or tells you to fix a mirror but doesn't let you interact with its shards until you have all of them, making it seem like you're failing to use the interface. There are buttons that do nothing. Things that should be toggled with keyboard shortcuts require clicking repeatedly. There are sections with grid-based movement where you have to click the next tile for every. single. step you take instead of having RPGM-like automatic pathing.

Beyond usability, I've enjoyed the story and most of the characters so far. The humor is pretty lowkey and gives it an overall pleasant vibe. Kind of reminds me of Saturday morning cartoons. Ironically, while the art style is nice overall, that same feel also makes it unappealing to me when it comes to the sex scenes, like I can't take them seriously, or the faces are too cartoony to be attractive. YMMV, and points for originality either way.

As a fan of point and clicks, I could see myself enjoying the final release, but I don't think it's worth keeping up with it until then because of all the bugs, continuity and QoL issues, and the insane amount of typos and missing words.

Very Good art and story, a little short so far about an hour and a half. Did find a few bugs, and a few moments where i had no idea where i was supposed to go next. Overall very strong start to the game,

The game is good until you realize the fact that... the updates are slow.
The gameplay is sometimes good, but honestly a chore to get through.
There are not enough scenes to make up for the work you put in to get them.
All of the scenes have this massive text box that is taking away from atleast 50% of what's interesting to have on screen.
    It has... bugs.

A great art style, a story that doesn't follow the exact same tropes nearly every other game out there does, and (some) characters that break the mold established by virtually every other adult game serve to make the game one of the most interesting to come out in a long time.

That said, at present (April 2024) there is only a small amount of content available and there are definitely bugs (some of which soft lock or otherwise break the game).

All told, definitely worth a look.

    Mall Creeps [v0.10.d] review

    What it is:
Monkey Island style puzzle game where you roam around in a haunted mall trying to uncover some spooky and sexy mysteries. The premise and art is very good, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

    Positives
+ Very unique and cute art style.
    + Cool setting and story.
+ Decent writing, but a little too wordy.

    Negatives
    - Bugged as hell. Scenes appear in the wrong order, the quest log is often misleading and confusing and it doesn't update properly. This dev has obviously not played through his own game more than once a few months back. That's a sin that's hard to forgive.
    - No animations.
    - The text box obscures a large portion of the characters being shown, all the fucking time! Holy shit is it annoying. The art is mostly why I'm here, stop hiding it! This game would be hugely improved by changing the aspect ratio to fit a text box below the screen instead of on top of it. Or at the very least make it transparent!

All in all it's decent. I would score it a 4/5 if it wasnt for the very glaring game design shortcomings mentioned above. Like jesus H christ, play your own damn game! And/or send it out to some beta testers and collect the feedback and fix shit before releasing! This level of disregard for quality control is very infuriating.

For those of you who are considering trying this game out, I'd recommend waiting until people are no longer complaining about bugs in the reviews/comments. The technical errors take away a lot of the potential entertainment and replaces it with frustration. It'll probably get fixed eventually, just give it some time I guess.

This is a game that's done a huge disservice by the modern "early access" style game model. Updates are slow, small, and unsatisfying. Each one is plagued with bugs, usually some new way you can accidentally sequence break and lock yourself out of progression. It feels like with more time and behind the scenes care this game could show its best face more often, and that would help it a ton because its best face is really good! Great artwork, a fun premise, interesting writing, fun adventure game style gameplay, the game has a lot of positives going for it. But it's just not worth the time investment right now unless you want to be basically an unpaid beta tester once every 4 months or so. I really look forward to the game when it's a finished product and will probably bump my rating up, but as it stands right now I have to say wait.
